My son researched laptops for school and decided in this mac. He loves it and says its very easy to use and loves all the programs that come with it. It's very fast and also light weight. A great value .The mac is very compatible with most college requirements.

I had a really hard time deciding on which laptop to go with but it was clear that for my needs the 13 inch MacBook Air carried the best bang for the buck. The laptop is snappy and handles auto desk and Gimp(photoshop) like butter it's fun, slim and lightweight.

This notebook is great for people on the go. It's light and easily portable. The screen is huge and the display is beautiful! I would highly recommend this computer! Not to mention its at a great price.

I love the boot time on this, and the solid state storage is quick. Battery life is unreal! I liked the retina display on the Pro more, but I'm not an artist - I do spreadsheets, text documents and the occasional presentation, so this is just fine. So for me the speed, light weight, and overall capability of this machine make it a great choice. It isn't an absolute top shelf portable and is priced in typically high Apple fashion. Grab one if it's on sale, but don't pay retail and expect the moon.

After getting this computer on an AMAZING sale, I find that it is well worth the price. It is easy to learn and well compatible with most things that other brands offer. Also, it is fast and holds a lot of storage. Very light weight

I've been looking for a laptop for a while because the one I had I was sharing it with my sister. I saw a lot of other brands like Dell, and although they were very affordable they reviews were mixed. I never really looked into Macs because always thought they were overpriced and I never understood all the hype about apple products. But it was on sell for $799 and the reviews were good. All my life I've had laptops that although very affordable only last for 3 years tops. Although I am not a very tech-ish person, my work requires me use my computer a lot, especially excel. This one seems to do the trick, no need to go into the more expensive macs. I recently bought an IPad too, so now I have everything sync. Again I was apprehensive at first because I don't want to be an "apple person" but so far so good with everything I've bought.

Got the MacBook Air for $700 and it is well worth it! Great quality, very light, lots of battery, simple, will use for college

I had my MacBook Pro for almost 10 years and figured it was time for an upgrade. The Air starts up quickly and runs smoothly. I don't need too much memory since almost everything is backed up into the cloud anyways. Very fast computer and light.

Great MacBook air, I am very pleased with this model, still has the usb port, and the magnetic charger attachment is very unique. The battery life is very good, remain charged all day with use. It has enough memory for my school work. Have no trouble with virus , you get 6months virus protection for free. I reccommend this MacBook to all, very good for students.

I love this laptop! I am fairly new to Apple products in general, but I think that it is easier to use than any PC I've ever had. The screen is beautifully clear, and I don't feel like I'm missing out because it's 13 inch. Super lightweight.

I've wanted to switch from a PC to a Mac for quite some time. This is still new but the pros are definitely that it is fast, light weight, and does not heat up when sitting on your lap. Additionally, the backlit keyboard is a nice plus, the SSD so I don't have to worry about moving the laptop around and not having to run Anti-virus, malware, and spyware programs is great (although I'm still a little uncomfortable not doing it). I have needed to make a couple of calls for Apple help and that went fairly smoothly. Additionally, a big reason I picked something small and portable was the backup plan of being able to take it to the Genius Bar/Apple store for help if necessary.

My daughter loves her Mac. She previously had another lap top but wanted an upgrade. She is on it all the time for school and of course fun. Awesome battery life, light weight, and fast!!

Very user friendly and perfect for traveling. This laptop is light weight and the perfect size to carry to class. I would suggest buying the MacBook Pro if your into a lot of media if not then this would be a great laptop.

This laptop is lightweight, easy to use and perfect for everyday use. I was looking to upgrade to a mac and decided that the air was the best option for schoolwork, surfing the web and movie watching. The battery life is impressive as well.

I use this for a personal lap top & a my work computer. I personally LOVE this item. It is easy to use, light weight, portable, and the battery on it is AMAZING (12Hrs)!! I would recommend this to anyone, young, old, business, or personal.

This is the thinnest, lightest, and fastest laptop I have ever used. I am not a computer geek or a gamer, just your average online shopper and occasional Facebook poster. This thing is a lot smoother and easy to use then the average PC.

I was very very pleased with my purchase. I never owned a MacBook or MacAir product before, but always wanted to. I ended up buying this off open item and was very very pleased with not only the speed and performance, but also how light it is.

This computer is very reasonably priced if you wait for a sale at Best Buy. The computer is light weight great battery life. Easy to use and it's an Apple. Easy to get service and advice at an Apple store. Never looking back on this one.

Perfect for college students...Easy to handle & fast processing
