I live a fairly busy life; I work full time, and go to school part time, this laptop is the perfect balance of portable and quality for my lifestyle. I can bring it easily from home to work to class, and even to coffee shops or the library to study. It is still fast (for what I use, mainly browsing, streaming, and simple document creating) and the battery life is truly impressive. I had an iPhone before purchasing this Mac, but before that I had not dealt with the Mac OS. The transition had a couple bumps, but once I got used to the new OS I found I definitely preferred it. If you are worried about switching from a Windows OS to the Mac OS, trust me when I say that the learning curve is definitely worth it.

Very happy with this Macbook purchase. This was purchased for my son who was going away to college. He is very happy with the size, performance and speed. Extra special with the college student discount!

The laptops battery life is well worth it and is very portable. It has helped me a lot with my work and is very light and fast. Would recommend to others.

I originally purchased the pro but the weight of it and speed turned me off. The air is lightweight and fast and for the price you get a lot of computer.

I've been waiting a long time to get a Mac. This is my first one and I love it. It's everything I hoped it would be. Long battery life, boots quickly, lightweight and compact. It was worth the wait!!

First MacBook purchase ever and super pleased so far. Have wanted to try MacOS for a while now and glad I finally did. Don't get me wrong, I love building powerful Windows PCs on a tighter budget. Lately though, I have lost interest in enthusiast gaming and heavy computer usage, so my current workflow hasn't been too demanding. This machine trumps my expectations completely. It really is feather light, the build quality is superb - far better than any laptop I've had. The touchpad is perfect, the ssd is super speedy, it runs quiet, multitasks well and so far with my usage hasn't even gotten warm. The battery life is also insane. I have had no problem learning how to use OSX and never thought I'd say it, but MacBooks are worth it. The quality is great, the OS is smooth and the experience is wonderful. A few small bugs and minor software crashes so far, nothing disappointing however. And in case you were wondering, the screen looks gorgeous (even as a non-Retina). If you've done your research, know what to expect, and are shopping for a very convenient beginners leap into MacBook territory, you will NOT be disappointed. I will refine this review later on and try to make it more specific. (In a hurry for work)

This is my second Macbook Air. I bought this because I gave my older one away to a family member and I wanted more memory. It's light, sleek and fast! Love my Mac and will never go back to PC!

I had a Toshiba that updated To Windows 10. It had nothing but problems. I decided to try a Mac mainly for the OS. I simply love it. The Mac OS is so easy to learn and Best Buy’s classes to help with the transition were awesome. Yes it costs a bit More than a PC but you will never look back!

This is my second Mac, I gave my first one to my wife and it is still going strong. No virus’s and it always works. I don’t have to pay every year to access Microsoft programs, Apple provides Pages etc that donthe same thing as Word and also allow you to send the documents as a Word, PDF etc.

This laptop when purchased on sale gives you fantastic "bang for your buck". MOST (but not all) people will never make full use of all the specs they "think" they need in a laptop. If you use a memory card you can store a good amount of music and photos on that leaving the 128 GB that comes on board for your programs and apps. It's super lightweight yet doesn't feel cheaply made. I love the screen and the backlit keyboard. I wish it had an ethernet port but, I hardly every use it so I can't say I miss it that much. The average person checks emails and facebook on their computer. Some people will do a little word processing and make some schools reports or flyers. This laptop is more than they will ever need.

Excellent computer for the price l paid.my daughter will be using this computer for college. It's perfect for carrying it around with you and should last her throughout her college years.

I went in to the store to buy a Chromebook and left with a MacBook! I still cringe at the purchase price but it really is worth it in the long run. If you're used to a regular Windows PC, it will take some getting used to, but I figured it out pretty quickly. I love how it integrates with my iPhone and iPad as well. I chose the smaller storage and non-retina because those 2 things aren't important for what I need a computer for. So far, after 2 weeks, I can't really find any downfalls. Battery life is great. Personalization capabilities are good. Seems durable. I really cannot complain. I have considered buying a MacBook for years and am glad I finally took the plunge.

I was a PC user. I bought a Mac for college and the battery life is amazing! I don't need to take the charger to class. It lasts all day on one full charge. It is fast and reliable. The screen is bright and clear and the mouse is responsive. So far, I have not had any problems running the software needed for my courses. I have an iPhone and linked it to the laptop and now, I can send iMessages and receive phone calls right on my Air! It is expensive but it is a much needed investment and I hope it will last all throughout college and beyond.

I bought this for my daughter to use in college. Very happy with the product. It is lightweight, thin and very fast. She used to have the 11 inch and this size is much easier for her to use.

Battery life is unbelievable! This computer is light, thin, and powerful. I have an iPad so I do most of my browsing on it but wanted a nice computer at a lower cost. This is the perfect fit.

I bought this laptop after much thought and comparison with the dell and asus. I wanted to go to the "cheaper" route and maybe try to save some money but when I saw that the MacBook Air was on sale, I told myself I had to get it and I do not regret it one bit. It is the smoothest, sleekest, fastest computer I've ever used. It is so simple once you get the hang of it and I absolutely love it. I am a full time student in college so this laptop is perfect for me! I would definitely recommend it because it is worth the money.

Bought 3 new fun things - ~Android Tablet for a square register. ~A new PC & Screen. ~A MacBook Air. Remind me to always buy Mac/Apple Everything and anything. I was trying to give non-Macs a chance again. Although there are very cool features with my Googl-eee - PC stuff that I love, the MacAir is exponentially used the most. It's efficient and effective. It fits in my purse. No weirdness. No squirrelly stuff. No setting up Gmail accounts. All business no shenanigans. Only happiness. OHM.
