As expected, the MacBook air is awesome. Ultra fast, very light, good battery life... it's everything I expected and then some. Best Buy had a great price on it and made it even better.

This is a very nice macbook. I enjoy using it very much everyday. The speed, screen are great. The battery is good for travelling. It is light and I did not have any problem after using.

I have now had 5 MacBook airs and pros. After "switching" to a PC laptop, with more ram and better CPU, I am so happy to be back in an Apple. What was I thinking? This computer is still the best if you want a workhorse that's thin and light. I was a pro photographer and this works great for all my photo editing. The screen is not the best available now but still works for my needs. For me, the form factor and price are what makes this the best laptop. Don't be suckered into a PC like I was. Btw, that P of S is in its original box, in my basement and just only four months old, not worth half of what I paid for it now. Buy the MacBook Air and be happy.

bought this laptop for college in the fall and so far it has exceeded all expectations. very fast, sleek design, and WONDERFUL battery life.

Great for traveling. Not intended for power users. Wish it had a retina display but still a solid laptop.

The Apple MacBook Air is just what I wanted. I love the size and weight! Plus it holds a great charge. Another quality I like is how compatible it is with my iPhone. Love love LOVE it!

This laptop is very fast. It's extremely light. I've owned it for a year now and wouldn't change it. My first Mac laptop lived for 8 years and I'm hoping to get more out of this one!

This is probably one of the best purchases I’ve made for my teen’s schoolwork. She constantly uses it. It is so compact and reliable! One of the main reasons I purchased this was because the Apple Mac has a great reputation for not getting infected with viruses. My IT people at work highly recommended getting a Mac. So when my teen’s laptop started acting up snd freezing, I started to research different laptops, but kept coming back to this one. Then I saw it on sale for a terrific price and I was sold!!!! Seeing how much my teen uses and loves this laptop makes me so happy!

I went from a MacBook Pro to this air. I love the screen and how it is lighter then my last one. It is great at multitasking doing everything that I need at a fast speed. Very happy

I was looking at this computer for my grandmother who needed a new one. After convincing her that the mac was the best for her money, we ordered it. At the time it was 799.99 with my college id, she has had it for a few months and has no issue using it and hasn't had any complaints. This is the best laptop for anyone using for personal use and has plenty of storage and a fast processor (it loads quickly). Will definitely be looking to purchase another one of these laptops for myself when I finish college.

Bought this for grad school and teaching - great speed, sleek design, super light to carry around. Meets all my basic word processing and online needs. Would highly recommend.

My first foray into Macworld. Ridiculously easy to use and weighs next to nothing. Use it for school, work and play. Getting used to no cd-rom and memory but it's not too hard!

I absolutely love my MacBook Air. It's very light to carry, fast working, and plenty of storage. I love that I can have multiple windows open and it still runs perfectly!

If you want to catch the student discount, be sure to try getting before the end of October. The discount is normally $150.00 off, with any additional sales that may be on it at the time. Don't wait like i did for the end of October, the next day they took it off the website and i was so sad, but i still purchased it. Sales Associates will try to say that the $150 off deal pops up randomly throughout the year. Anyway, the performance is incredible, I can do just about anything. Im a Graphic Arts Student and i use Wacom, to draw sketch, and it pairs perfectly with the Mac. If you're stuck between a Surface Book or Mac, like i was, do research and get what will cater best to you. Realize that the Mac can do more than you think it can.

I would definately recommend this laptop to people who are in college or are about to enter college. This laptop is light weight, has a big screen, and has a fast processor.

This laptop is awesome i'm not a super techy person but its easy to learn. it's fast and reliable i've only had it for a couple months but i cant seem to put it down im hooked!

The batter life last a full work day with heavy use, plus casual browsing well into the evening.... Super light, and the unibody design provides a great sense of quality
