Do your homework
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the MacBook Air listed as "latest model" on January 11, 2017. Well on February 1st, 2017 the screen started going dark and the touch pad would jump around and/or lock up. If you shine a flashlight at the screen you can see what it's supposed to display. I went back to the store of purchase. They said Best Buy does not do repairs and to take it to Apple. Apple said since it was not purchased from them, they do not do the repairs, that they send the units out. I said ok. The response was it is an early 2015 model so it is not covered by warranty and it would be $755 + tax to repair. I only paid $800. I guess you get what you pay for. Now I bought a MacBook Pro right from Apple in 2009 that still works. So I know what to expect. I'm not exactly pleased as I do not have money for repairs.
