OVERPRICED FOR THE CONTENTS

I'm tired of paying for the Apple name on a product which should be priced 3-4 hundred dollars less. This same small processor (1.6G) can be found in Microsoft PC's from 2 or 3 years ago. Although I still love the Apple layout and functionality, this cost for a slow laptop just is not worth it. The speakers are also tinny, and the screen resolution (just a notch up from 768) is flat looking. I was hoping thls brand new MBAir would suffice for as a new PC for my other half, but it just doesn't measure up for the price. Same price for a Microsoft/Windows PC brings usually close to double the speed and far better amenities (1080 pix, touch screen, etc). Sorry Apple, this attempt at a budget PC fails.
