This is a great laptop. It's very user friendly for all ages. Super lightweight too which is great!

I love my MacBook Air! I am a huge Apple fan and i also purchased an Apple Watch, they're both great!

Based off of the processor and other features this is a great buy for high school or college students. For basic classes I would suggest this computer or one like it, especially if the person likes apple products. Only benefit I see to getting a MacBook pro over this is the display quality and the look of the screen. but for a few hundred dollars I think most people would prefer the Air over the pro unless if you need the higher features.

I have never owned a Mac before. I nearly always use a PC or Chromebook, but for a home device it can't be beat. It syncs seamlessly with my iPhone and iPod. Since I am new to Macs, I made an appointment with my local genius bar and had all my questions answered. I love the boot speed (comparable to a Chromebook), the ability to do absolutely everything, and the sleek styling. I would definitely recommend this MacBook Air.
