It has always amazed me how thin Apple has been able to make the Macbook Air line. This laptop is the perfect size, and has just enough juice to accomplish most everyday tasks. The computer did struggle a little bit with some of my huge excel databases, but I thought that it worked good enough. I love how portable this is, and the battery seems to last as long as you would need it too (like literally all day)

I was looking for a new laptop and wanted something light and portable. I went into Best Buy that day for something else, but there was a sale for select MacBooks, which rarely ever happen. While the MacBook Air is not their top of the line laptop, it does everything I need to use for work, blogging, and using the internet.

As always, a user friendly computer. lightweight, reliable and with the latest technology.

I usd to be a window computer users. Five years ago, I got my first Macbook air and my first Mac Pro at the same time. The experience has been wonderful. The Macbook air lacks retina display, but otherwise is a perfect lightweight laptop, user friendly and super reliable. If fully charged at night, the battery should last a whole work day. It is more pricy than other brands of laptops, but definitely worth it.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this computer with the limited onboard storage capacity of only 128GB. I did need a laptop for some online seminars and to do some work away from my Mac mini. Since I do store most of my frequently used documents on the cloud I figured it would suffice and the price was right. I was amazed at the speed of this computer. With everything using flash memory, the speed of opening files and opening locally stored apps and documents is amazingly fast. Then my primary computer (my Mac mini) was stolen at an office break in, resulting in using my MacBook Air as a primary computer until I get a replacement base station. Aside from security of having all my photos and docs stored locally instead of relying solely on the cloud, I have been having not a single issue and am truly happy with this computer, it has also been my gateway into being more comfortable with using the cloud and eliminated my fear of not having enough local storage on my portable devices. I am sold. I will always have a MacBook Air as a member of my mobile line up. It is a great, solid,fast device. I love it.

I bought this laptop after my 2008 MacBook Pro finally gave up in last January. I am very happy that I got this one. Especially for the price ($749). The only concern is hard drive space (128 GB SSD). But I use a 2 TB portable HD so if needed I can use that for space. It's a great buy if you are looking for an everyday laptop that provides portability, long battery life, and decent processing power.

Hands down, the best computer I have ever owned. For the price, there are no Windows OS computers that could beat the MacBook Air. It is great because it does not heat up, like ALL windows computers and doesn't have that annoying fan constantly going. It has the best build quality that I have ever seen before. The display is extremely great to look at and use! I also love the fact that the Apple Logo lights up, as well as the keyboard. I am an Apple fan forever! If you are looking for a good reliable computer, and reliable OS then this would be a great way to go! Also worth mentioning, the battery life is fantastic, lasts me at least 14 hours and I don't usually charge it more than once a week.

If you're willing to play the waiting game for the price to drop like I did( got it for 700) then it's great. Not a ton of process power but would be a great for casual use and school. Good screen and how lift it is makes it pretty much as portable as a tablet. 700 was the max I would pay, maybe 750 no more.

I love the lightweight design! It's much easier to take it with me when I travel, and for large files I use an external hard drive for storage and access.
