Good College Laptop

I have owned an HP, Toshiba, and Compaq and all have slowed down significantly in just 2 years. Going into college, I can't risk my laptop slowing down halfway. Apple's reputation for lasting speed and quality convinced me to try it. I have only had my MacBook Air for 2 months, but so far, it has been great. I also love that it is silent, my previous laptops were extremely loud and got very hot on the bottom. The learning curve of going from a PC to a Mac was not as challenging as I expected. The one area were a PC is superior to Mac is in the Microsoft OneNote app, as there are more features when used on a PC.

Love It!

It is very light weight and he almost forgets that it is there in his backpack . The battery life is awesome and can go all day without having to worry about about finding an outlet to plug in when in classes.Never thought I would be a Apple person, but I am a little jealous of is computer.

Small/lite with long battery life, no touchscreen!

I do have a complaint. Not one Mac (both laptop and desktop) is touch screen, which I believe to be the norm for computers these days; and having been use to using a touch screen, it's frustrating when it's not available. For the price, it should come with everything including touch screen. This is my 1st time using a Mac, so it took some time getting to know it. Once you have mastered IOS, it's awesome to use. Very well organized, and everything is available for you at the touch of a key or mouse (as I mentioned, and it's driving me crazy, there is no touch screen!!!!)

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am overall satisfied with the new MacBook, it is lightweight and very fast for everyday task, I do not use for advanced task or designing and therefore I don't know how will perform on those tasks, the only downside is the lack of storage but for the price I got mine, together with the rewards point I could easily afford to get an external disk

Very happy with its durability and quality (I’m a bit clumsy) it was very easy for me to navigate as I have used many apple products in the past! Recommend this to my classmate who is having issues constantly with her current laptop!
