I have been using a Mac for thirty years. The last laptop lasted about five or six years of very heavy use so when I needed to replace it I went with another. The macbook was a great choice - fast and so much lighter than my previous MacBook. Looking forward to using it for another five years.

MacBook Air is ALWAY a solid choice. Our family started with the 11 inch model and really enjoy the extra space and battery life of the 13 inch model. Unless you're a graphic designer, this should be plenty of computer for you.

I got this as a gift for my daughter and grandkids. It has just the right amount of memory and storage for their daily usage. Portable and easy to use with the latest Mac OS they can connect to iCloud and remain integrated into the Apple ecosystem. They are very happy with this MacBook Air.

Got my daughter this Apple a month ago for just $800 after the sale and student discount. It's a big hit with her so far. No problems; fun to use. Light in the backpack, too! She uses it plugged in at home to conserve the battery life.

The 2015 version is a fraction away in terms of performance from the 2017 version. The screen isn't a Retina or 4k, but it's not distractingly bad. Like going to iPhone after having a Samsung, it's just nice to have hardware that does what it's supposed to and will for a long, long time.

I have been a mac user for years, usually working on a large imac for design work. I have been very happy with this laptop. It's light, was easy to set up, and can even be connected to my old imac for a larger screen. I bought mine as an open box item and have had no problems.

The computer is a typical Apple product: fast, sleek, cutting edge, and perfection. It is light weight and doesn't make noise when processing (which was an issue with my previous non-Apple computer). My phone, iPad, and computer are all synched together, which is unbelievably convenient. LOVE IT

I was never really a Mac person so I cringed when my employer recommended I use a Mac for a project I was working on. At first, I resented all the small differences between the Mac and Windows GUI but eventually got used to them. Have to say that this particular Macbook Air has served me well. Love the lower energy consumption which allows me to stay unplugged for a long period of time. Its SSD also makes it very light and easy to carry around. Great display and sound as well. Keyboard can be back lit or not, depending on your power and lighting preferences. A bit more expensive than a similar Windows machine but would still recommend it for anyone wanting to familiarize themselves with the "Macosphere".

The MacBook air is a great product. The battery life is excellent. It powers on quickly, the speed of processing excellent. The 8gb of ram is a plus. The storage is adequate if you are not using it for your main computer however, if you use the cloud storage can expand your space optimally.

I bought this computer for my son for when he went off to college. He loves everything about it.

I havent had a Mac since college and aftert my windows one died, I purchased this one on sale and I LOVE IT. It is fast, efficient, user friendly, and reminds me why I loved my Apple products in the beginning. It matches seamlessly with my watch and phone. Graphics are perfect. I love it

I purchased this MacBook air for my wife. It is running very smoothly ever since we purchased this product. She used it for her graduate School. It is user friendly and easy to operate. It is very light to carry around inside college bag as well. She absolutely love it.

I will always but Apple Laptops. I purchased this one for my daughter who was going away to college and I needed something reliable and easy to use. Apple offers great support which is great for college students away from home. It may be a bit more expensive, but I wouldn't buy anything else.

so i'm a former pc user, but have had the same laptop for the past 6 years so a new one was long overdue. getting the $200 discount was just icing on the cake. so far i'm liking how light the computer is, and it's beautiful. mainly i chose the air because i couldn't make up my mind on a pc.

Been shopping for a new laptop for some time and just never pulled the trigger. Through the recommendation of family I started looking into the MacBooks and I'm glad I listened. It's light weight, doesn't overheat, battery life is great, and it has made by daily duties easier to manage.

Light weight and powerful. It still has good old USB ports and a drive to import flash memory.

I purchased my MacBook about 5 months ago and I absolutely love it! It is super fast, the battery is long lasting and best of all very secure. This is definitely a great laptop for college students since it allows for you to color code your documents, loads quickly and is great for typing.

I have bought about 10 different budget computers from HP, Sony, Dell, Fujitsu, etc over 20+ years. Everyone one of them goes bonker after 3 years or so. I got his MacBook in 2017 and writing this review 3 years later. This one just works like magic - everyday! With COVID-19 now, everyone needs a reliable, trustworthy laptop to get their studies or work done. Thank you Apple and all the people who were instrumental in making this high quality laptop. Thank you for keeping it going with high quality software updates 3 years later.(touch wood!) I expect to keep this for many more years as my kids use them daily. I’m getting one more for my second kid this Memorial Day weekend. And, I strongly recommend this marvelous laptop to anyone who wants to just focus on their studies or work - just get it!
