I needed a laptop that was both lightweight and super fast as a lot of my work is done on the go, in the field and at coffee shops where I meet clients to look up homes and quickly write and send contracts! In a business where "time is money" my Mac Air is a must have

Prior to this I had only used HPs and I was sold on being an HP user for life. I did however have an iPhone and iPad. After breaking a few HP laptops within four years I decided I needed something that was going to be able to live up to my heavy work life and graduate degree demands. This laptop has exceeded my expectations!!!! This laptop is very user friendly. I love that it's light weight and holds a charge for a long amount of time. I will also say that it charges up fairly quickly as well. I love that you can get customizable skins that match your personality. Overall, I'm very in love with my purchase.

I bought this laptop for my girlfriend as she’s starting college and so far she loves it. It’s super slim and she’s had no issues with fitting it in a small bag for school. Super efficient battery, as she’s never had to run to an outlet to plug it in. 5/5

I was looking for a laptop that was fast and reliable for school. This was a great choice! Not only is it light, it is also very quick and responsive. I previously had a Dell and this is a major step up. My Dell would take minutes to even log me in from a sleep. The laptop feels great while in use and it also has an amazing battery life. The magsafe charger is magnetic so it will not bring your Mac down if it is pulled on. There is a small light on the charger that indicates when it's charging and when it's finished charging. I LOVE this feature because it's very quick to check if your laptop is fully charged. You don't have to worry about over charging your laptop because the charger automatically shuts off when it's fully charged. The battery lasts through the whole day at school and even afterwards. I don't have to worry about lugging my charger around. The Mac is very user-friendly. The trackpad has great multi-touch features! The user experience is easy and fast because of these shortcuts. The keyboard is very comfortable to type on. I recommend purchasing a case and keyboard cover to protect the Mac. A keyboard cover prevents dust and small liquids from getting under your keys. If you are a heavy gamer, this isn't the laptop for you. Also, the display is not retina so if you're picky with displays, keep that in mind. I do not mind this the display. Overall, this is the best laptop I've owned and it is magnificent!

How easy it to use and every reliable. Great computer to do my homework and take with me. It is very light weight and small enough to fit in my backpack. Love it!

Last minute crash of our sons laptop had us shopping for a new laptop midterm. As we were shopping and comparing some of the newer 2 no 1s and surface a best buy employee informed us this was at a lower price. We hesitated only because of the screen resolution. Our other son has retina screen and it is super. This was quickly decided upon for durability and ease of setup and use . Our son has not been disappointed with its use and portability for classes. The fact he could use Microsoft programs was a determinating factor. Sturdy powerful and portable perfect for the student.

Great addition to the family. Bought this for my parents who are upgrading from an 8 year old Macbook Pro. The air is super light, snappy, and more than enough computer for their use (Email, Photos, Internet, Microsoft Office). They were concerned with the lack of CD player, so we picked up an external drive that will hardly ever get used, and the smaller screen (coming from the 15"), so we also got an external monitor, wireless mouse, and wireless keyboard, all for much less than what a 15" Pro would have cost. Overall, great for its use. Fits in well with an apple family.

I purchased my macbook air 5 months ago and i can say that i'm really happy with it. I gave this review 4 stars only because it doesnt have retina and sometimes the quality isnt the best. Other then that it charges quickly, its really light, and its really durable. If ur in college and cant afford the macbook with retina then get this.

My second Apple laptop. MacBookAir does not disappoint. Slim design, light weight. Very fast and still has the lastest software. My first laptop lasted 12 years. Hoping to get another 12. Was going in to buy a Apple because of the price, but after looking at other laptops and pricing I could not not go back to the MacBook.

This is my first MacBook computer. It is very lightweight, yet it has great performance. It's easy to use, and its screen size works well for me.
