Great Entry Level Mac

It also has enough power to run Xcode if you're into building apps. If you want to do image/video editing, I would upgrade to a MacBook Pro. If you're looking for portability, get the MacBook. If you just need the basics, the Air is the perfect computer.

Great machine, memory an issue.

Totally reliable, never crashes and I'm not worried about security. As with all apple products, memory is an issue. Would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that she'll have to expand it as soon as she has more than a couple of games installed.
