I'm a graduate student, and needed a easily portable laptop that won't weigh down my already heavy book bag. This laptop was perfect for me! This also happens to be my first Apple computer so I was a little hesitant to purchase this at first. So far the battery life seems to be true to advertising as I don't charge it for days at a time. The only issue I've noticed is it becomes laggy when using a certain web-based program for school. If you know you'll be visiting/using resource heavy programs or websites, this particular model may be too slow for you.

I was hesitant to get an Apple computer especially since I don’t know how they operate. I almost returned it but I stuck in there and I’ll tell you what, this computer is amazing. So many features, it’s fast sleek and convenient.

I wanted a Mac laptop but felt the MacBook line was too underpowered and the Pro line too expensive for my needs. The MacBook Air was the perfect compromise of performance, light weight and style. And since there is talk the Air may be discontinued I decided to get one while I still could. I also strongly preferred the old style keyboard to the new ones that have a lot less key travel, but that's a personal preference, definitely you will want to try both before you buy. The included apps have all the basics most people will need. The display is definitely not as bright and clear as the newer Retina screens so if you plan to watch a lot of movies or play games this might be more of an issue.

I've been a PC person my entire life until a significant change in career happened. I needed a portable laptop and shopped for a while, finally found one but stopped working within 2 weeks of purchase. So disappointed with that decision and started looking at Macbooks, which I assumed that they'll he expensive. To my surprise Bestbuy offered $200 off and decided to join the bandwagon. I love that my MBA is so light and fast. I still have to get used to the Max settings but I feel that this is a good investment that will last for years.

We went to Best Buy to purchase a replacement PC for our teenage daughter; we ended up buying this MacBook Air because of the great price and Mac's awesome reputation. We are not disappointed! It's lightweight, sleek, and bug-free! It also helped that Best Buy now offers Mac service and repair--much more convenient than running to a Mac store somewhere. Apple makes great computers and Best Buy offered this one at a great price! Plus, the BB rep told us about a college coupon available through the BB app, which took off another $150! Win win!

Easy to use. Great size , speed and storage. I liked it so much that we bought a second one for my daughter.

This was our first Mac purchase...ever. Only now do I realize what we have been missng all this time. The Mac itself is thin, light, and very nice to look at. The battery life is incredible compared to our old latop it replaced. The Mac OS seems to be so much more stable and while we are still getting used to it, the future is written on the wall. My PC will be replaced with a Macbook later this year also.

So easy to use as a previous PC user! Reliable, easy to navigate around, fast response and lightweight. So happy with this purchase!

I purchased this laptop for my younger sister who is studying biochemistry. The MacBook works great for the tasks that she handles from day-to-day. She has had no issues streaming content or playing video locally. She claims it never seems underpowered, which was my worry. Battery life and compact size were the biggest selling points for her and have turned out to be the best features of the MacBook Air. This is my second mac purchase after using pc's for 22 years, I will absolutely purchase another.

Bought this for work and love it! Smooth like butter, quick response, fast and light. I can take it home, leave it around, put it in my pack and go. I like the intuitiveness of the OS and the feel of the product. Started out a PC guy, got an iPhone and never looked back. I know some think they are overpriced and underperform but I say whatevs. If you are a PC person you may find yourself liking it (though it does take a little bit of re-learning). But if not, don't worry, we can all still be friends.

The MacBook Air is a great laptop. It's fast and Apple has such a nice design. It's so lightweight and easy to take anywhere.

I love the small size of this computer. It is very fast for all the applications my wife uses it for. I personally have been on it from time to time and don't really notice much speed difference from it and my more high powered MacBook Pro Retina. Of course, when I render video, my MacBook Pro is faster, but my wife doesn't use it for graphic intense purposes. Her use is primarily email, web browsing, and office programs. I have used Apple and Windows for some time and have not been disappointed with paying extra for a Apple Computer. Have owned, Mac Mini, MacBook, iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Pro Retina and all of them were superior in quality and endurance to the windows computers I had.

I love this computer!! Long battery life, sleek and lightweight. I can take it anywhere. It is fast and user friendly.

They only thing I don't like is the price, even with a price match.. I love the look and operating system but just wish it was more affordable for such a great product so everyone on a budget can experience a good laptop. it's light, compact, and stays charged FOREVER.

I have had this computer for about a month and I have absolutely no negative things to say about it! I have owned PCs my entire life and I have gotten sick of all the crashing and over complicated settings they have. This laptop is a beast it lasts all day without having to stop to recharge it. It is so light and fast! I cannot stress how perfect this is for a college student that just wants to get work done and not spend time fussing with settings or talking to technical support!

We’ve had iPhones and iPads for years but this is our first MacBook. Overall we’ve been very happy with it albeit with limited usage. Processor is very fast and overall is very user-friendly.

My Hp laptop had just quit on me and it was mid semester. I'd been dancing around the idea of getting an Mac Book for about a year now. And Bestbuy was having a sale on the Mac Book Air. So I went into the East 71st Store in Tulsa Oklahoma. The guys that helped me pic it out were extremely helpful! Its really easy to use, light weight and is easy to pack around since I'm a pre-nursing student I need a laptop to be lighting fast to get all my studies done!
