It's a decent laptop, sturdy and elegant design yet a laggard price-wise. You can buy windows based laptop with the latest intel processor and a better memory with the same amount of money. Mac OS may be more stable than windows but the latest win10 also yields similar performance.

My grandson graduates from high school this year and is college bound. His old laptop was over 5 years old and died recently. We decided to give him a replacement. He has an iPhone, iPod & iPad so it seemed logical to go with the MacBook. I read reviews and caught this on sale. He was thrilled to receive it. He has texted me everyday since he got it praising it and telling me the features he likes. It was so light and compact and both his Grandpa an me want one! We love our apples!

This was my very first laptop purchase so i was trying to read up on every review I could get my hands on of what were the pros and cons of buying the MacBook aire. I didn't need any special feature or anything too high tech but because I travel a lot the weight was the deal breaker. It's so light and compact it fits anywhere and isn't a burden to bring a long. So far so good I love it!

I switched from a Windows operating system to my first Apple system. I find it refreshing to have the system working flawless but I am still learning some of the Apple techniques . This is not my main computer that I use and I do miss my larger monitor screens but I do like the convenience of the light weight go anywhere features. The preview tutorials are excellent and extremely helpful for someone that has learned mostly from a "I'll try this and see if it Works" kind of a learner.

Great general use laptop. Went with smaller flash storage and accompanied it with a 1tb portable hard drive. Works great.
