Bought the MacBook Air 13.3" with i5 and 256mb SSD for my son heading to college. We've always had Windows machine, but he got stuck on the Mac for light weight and portability. So far it's been a great choice for him. It's super portable so he takes it everywhere with him, and has had zero technical issues. His room mate had a terrible time getting his laptop to connect to campus wireless, but I was able to connect the Mac on the first try in about 60 seconds. He's a business student, so didn't need a ton of horsepower, so this works great for him. If you're running CAD/CAM or lots of heavy duty graphics programs, you'll want a beefier config with separate video card. If not, this is a great option, especially if you catch it on sale. Really impressed by the speed of the machine, as the SSD is bus-connected. Open the lid, hit the on button and BAM it's up and running. Will consider switching to one of these when my old general purpose laptop requires replacement. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the price, which even on sale with college student discount was still higher than a windows machine with a more powerful configuration.

I was debating between this and the new pro for a while and finally decided on getting the Air because it went on sale. This one with the 256 GB storage went on sale for $999 and I was able to use my student discount coupon for another $50 off so it was a great deal. I know that this will last for a few years, because my 2012 macbook pro is still running great. The only reason I got this one is because it is a lot lighter and more convenient for school. Great laptop for students and anyone that is on the go, because it is so light weight.

Great laptop. Originally purchased the 128GB HD model, but returned it and upgraded it the same day...256GB really just is the minimum drive size if you have any sort of music/movie files. I've been a PC person my entire life...but moved over to Macs in the last year...I honestly will never go back. They are fast, don't slow down at all over time, don't come with a bunch of bloatware, and they essentially never crash. While they are definitely pricier than a PC, you'll have it easily twice as long, so it all washes out in the end.

Mac Book Air13" display is the perfect laptop. It's light and compact for traveling. Easy to navigate. Overall a great laptop for anyone!

This is my first time to try Apple laptop, feeling is good, but still need to be familiar with all features in this system. I got it in August, the battery life is same as the review from others, internet access is fast.

The MacBook Air is the last remaining Mac with reasonable key travel on its keyboard. With OS X Sierra and 256GB SSD, the Core i5 delivers responsive performance and a great experience. FWIW, my main uses are Facebook, Pinterest, web design, blogging, and email. Battery life is 6-7 hours. Hurry up and buy one of these affordable MacBooks before Apple kills them off and raises the minimum entry price by another $300.

This laptop truly is what all the reviews say. It is so light, fast and efficient. It gets the job done and is very easy to use.

The Apple MacBook Air is the perfect laptop to carry around, enter data, create power points and everything else a larger laptop can do but at a fraction of the weight. And since I have an iMac at the office, I can marry data from one to the other effortlessly. Probably not great for gaming, and not as big a screen if your thing is movies and video. But for a work (or school) computer, it can't be beat.

I have been a Mac user for almost 10 years now but I have been a MacBook Pro user. Since my new job does not require so much capacity I decided to buy a MacBook Air. I was very reluctant about this since I was used to the Pro's speed and power. But I'm very happy with my new Mac, it is fast and efficient. Plus it is so lightweight compared to the Pro that I do not even feel it in my bag! Love it!

SO I waited a long time to get a laptop. I've used my iMac for 10 years and have loved it, but it was time to become more portable. I thought about getting a MacBook pro, but decided on the MacBook Air 13.3 due to its extra storage and light weight. Besides, I didn't need the retna display that was supposedly the selling point of the MacBook pros. I've had my air now for two weeks and love it.

This computer is the fastest that I have ever had. Ease of use, light , and fast. Couldn't ask for more for the price.

The MacBook Air 13.3" is truly the best in the market. It's quickly responsive when browsing the net, open multiple pages while multitasking. I had a great deal at Best Buy Store in Santee. It was on sale for $1000 for double of Specs. It's elegant, lightweight, and pleasure to carry everywhere. I recommend it to each and every customer.
