The performance is pretty good. I am a first time MAC user and I would love to continue this journey forever and the customer service from Best Buy is even better during the busy Thanksgiving Week.

I have been a dell user for a long time and I got tired of dealing with problems. I have an IPad and I phone and have never had any problems. My son is the one that convinced me to go MAC because he has one that they bought 5 yrs ago and have never had any problems. I also like the fact that I can talked to a local person if I have any questions about it. I am learning how to use it and I find it very intuitive to use. I will never go back to Dell or any other Windows products.

A solid and lightweight computer for virtually any application. I purchased the MacBook Air with the Intel i5 processor and 8gb of RAM. More than enough power for day to day computing. With only 256gb of storage it's not meant for archiving years of photos or masses of music albums. Save that for the cloud. But all in all, the speed and ease of use will satisfy nearly everyone. It's not a high power gaming rig or video editor. Buy a console for games or a MacBook Pro for editing.

My Microsoft Surface Pro 3 came flying out of my bag and hit the ground on the corner, cracking my entire screen and basically rendering it useless. I took it to BestBuy to have the Geek Squad take a look at it and they told me that there would be a $35 fee just to look at it, then it would probably be another $400 to $600 to fix the screen. They also told me that after the screen was fixed, that there may be other issues with the device, since it had been dropped. Any other problems would cost me additional money to fix. So when I took all of this into consideration, I choose to just buy a replacement device. I immediately went for the Surface Pro 4, but after looking at the starting price tag of $1400, I chose to look around a bit. I've used Apple products in the past and I've always loved them. So I went for the MacBooks and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the MacBook Air was on sale. I picked this one up and I've been SO HAPPY with it. It's absolutely AMAZING and it's got everything that I need and MORE! It's SO MUCH better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and it's just an all around better built/high quality product than the PC's that I've owned in the past decade (a total of 23 PCs ranging from desktops to laptops and tablets...I own two businesses and we've primarily used PC's...but NOT ANYMORE BABY!). Get a MacBook and you'll never go back to a Microsoft/PC product again!

Fast, light, durable. This is my first Apple laptop ever and I am thrilled with it. Completely recommend this product

BestBuy is so convenient. I love MacAir. It is thin, light and decent which fulfilled all my requirement of a laptop.

Love this notebook. It's fast, reliable, stylish, portable. It's a bit pricy but I believe you get what you pay for.

When my 'vintage' Macbook Pro started having issues, I decided to buy another Mac for everyday use and travel. So far I am very satisfied. If you are looking for a very light, easy to use laptop with some storage (I have 256MB), then MacBook Air is a good option.

Best price point for an Apple laptop given that we don't do much beyond basic computer tasks (i.e. browsing/printing/research/etc.) Like the compact size and weight and has performed very well to date.

Bought this for the hubby, and he's loved it since. Lightweight & powerful, it serves everything he needs to do on it. Have multiple MacBook Airs in the house for every member of the family. It's great that it is so cost effective to have one for each of us. Run the entire Adobe Creative Cloud on this machine with ease. Can easily switch over to Microsoft products for word processing and data manipulation. Overall, a great addition to our family!

I still use my 2009 MacBook Pro and it's still ticking! That's the reason why I went with another Mac! My mac book outlasted 2 of my wife's Dells and HP laptops! So that's another reason I went with Apple. Plus I wanted something lighter to carry around town for work and personal use. It's fast and my iPhone 7 stuff syncs easy. Just seems like it will out last anything else I tested. I bought it on sale so that made me move on the final purchase!

Great laptop. Have been a windows user for many years and resisted trying Mac Computer. I wish I had tried Mac sooner. The MacBook is on and ready to use as soon as I open it. It is not constantly updating like my Windows 10 laptop.

I have had an ipod and ipad, but i refused the iphone and Macbook. I preferred Samsung phones and HP computers. My computer died a horrible death and as a student I needed something fast. My friend talked me into the MACBOOK and I am in LOVE! besides having to use google to learn everything about using this . it runs smoothly and quick, light weight, and i have not had a single issue. I wish i wouldnt have wasted money on other computers. BEST PURCHASE EVER
