Great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a Macbook on a budget, these machines are a steal. They are light and capable devices. While it does not have the retina screen, the price and specs make up the difference. If you are deciding between this and the 12", then save the $$ and the the Air with a nice external screen.

Pricier than other brands, but well worth it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has everything I need and then some! I should have bought this awesome laptop before wasting my money on other brands. It's light, fast, works for hours before requiring a charge, easy to set up and use, lit keyboard, touch pad like a smart phone's, and best of all, synced with my iPhone! Highly recommend.

Best price for an entry-level MacBook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a lot of research, I decided to join the "MacBook" world because of how well it ties in with other Mac devices such as iPhone or iPad. I also appreciate the speed and the durability, as I find my Mac friends are happier with their computers for a much longer time than I've been with various PCs. This MacBook Air has been perfect! it's incredibly lightweight, thanks to the MAC design and the SSD instead of a hard drive. It is significantly faster than my former Sony Vaio, and after a month of use it still feels extremely fast. The 256 GB is an adequate amount of storage, as I think it would be hard to go with the 128 GB that some other models offer unless you just save everything to the cloud. This model is perfect for web browsing, creating documents and PowerPoint presentations, and eMail. I don't need the more powerful MacBook Pro but you may want to look at that if doing a lot of video editing. The package arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Highly recommend.

Best laptop Apple ever made
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 13" MacBook Air laptop is literally the best laptop Apple ever made. Perfect balance between size and performance. I had an 11"/i7/8GB and it is still in service and charging like new 3 years later, with specs that actually beat the first MacBook generation they switched to the m processors. When I saw this closeout price on the 13"/i5/8GB, I could not pass it up for my schoolteacher friend and she loves it!!!! I Also just bought a 12" MacBook i7/16GB Retina to replace the 11" that I gave to my daughter and am already missing the solid build feel of the prior generation, as well as the magsafe connector and ample USB ports. It is also a great machine, but the MacBook Air 11" and 13" (even with their reduced resolution and matte display) just felt amazing and productive, with just the "right" screen resolution at 1440x900 on the 13"..

Excellent Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a windows user till now (10 yrs) and thought of switching over to mac. I went back and forth a lot between the MacBook Pro and the Air and finally decided on the Air when it went on sale for $999 (Latest model with 256 GB Flash Storage/8 GB Memory). Very happy that i choose it. Lightweight and Fast laptop that boots up extremenly quicly and the battery life is amazing. The sleep mode doesnt drain any of the battery and with half/1 hour use the battery lasted more than 7 days. Usage in that was particularly videos and browsing.

Great mac for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doesn't have a Retina screen, but it boots fast and runs fast. Nice and light, fits in a backpack without feeling like you're carrying a full-size laptop. Battery life is excellent.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got a refurbished Geek Squad certified MacBook Air during Black Friday to give for a gift. Everything runs well and looks great with all that's included inside the box. Did a lot of research and decided to go for this since my gf will only be using it for her grad school work, so it's good for browsing, social media, uploading photos/videos, Netflix, and using Google Docs to write essays. I was pressured to get Apple Care though I don't mind. Even though I got this at a pretty good price,I'd want her to use it for a while so Apple Care gives that peace of mind that she's covered, at least for the next 3 years. Maybe I'll get one for myself next time.

Mac Air
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned the Mac Power Book and Macbook Pro. They were great laptops. I was originally skeptical about going to a smaller screen and not having the CD drive component. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy the smaller device. It is much easier to transport as it is lighter as well as smaller. My family purchased an external CD drive for me, which is convenient for anyone in the family to use. I typically use my home laptop for searching the web, email and storing photos. We also have an Apple tv and I am now able to send from the MACBOOK Air to the TV.! I would recommend the MACBOOK Air for anyone who uses their laptop similarly.

The benchmark for laptops
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from my 2012 MacBook Air because this laptop remains the benchmark by which all other laptops can be measured. Incredibly thin (though not the thinnest) and light (though not the lightest), the MacBook Air is easy to carry with you anywhere you need to be. The aluminum unibody is durable and sturdy, the keys are solid (and feel way better than the new butterfly keys on the Macbook and Macbook Pro), and the display still looks great despite not being a Retina display. The Thunderbolt and USB ports allow for maximum connectivity and don't require you to live the total #donglelife like newer Macs do. Amazing battery life!

Great laptop for a novice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love that it is so light-weight, portable and easy to use, even though my kids say that I am technology-challenged. Works great for everyday use such as checking email, looking up things on the internet, writing letters, working on spreadsheets, etc. Great purchase!

Son loves it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for my son. He uses it everyday and hasn't had any problems. He says it's fast and does everything he needs it to do. He does all of his homework and video editing on it. Small enough to carry it back and forth between home and school. Highly recommend.
