I was in the market for a MacBook after having PCs for nearly a decade. I knew that I was going to have to pay more for an Apple computer, but finding this one for under $900 I feel was a steal. (For the record, I bought it when it was on sale for $849). I feel like you know whether or not you want to be in the MacBook family, and so my words won't sway you one way or the other. But I will say find one you want and watch the price. This is a very good computer and I'm extremely happy with it.

Love my MacBook Air! very light weight, sleek looking, and does not add too much weight to my backpack when carrying it around campus.

Great laptop. It's fast it's light and it's thin. The only bummer is there's no CD/DVD drive so you gotta get an external one.

This computer remains the best on the planet & Best Buy makes it so easy to purchase it. When it is open box, buy it people! this is Best Buy selling it, not this guy you met on corner of your grocery store. ++++

This was purchased as a gift to replace and older MacBook Air. My daughter is thrilled. It is faster and thinner than her last one.

I had been watching prices on these for quite some time, & Best Buy finally offered a great price that no one else could match, not even the Apple Store. The computer is for one of my kids & so far has been fantastic, with no problems at all, including malware issues. I've read that Apple may be coming out with an new MacBook Air with better specs, but for a basic Mac, I'm sure this one will still be good for a long time. And, the price will probably continue to come down, once the new models come out.

Daughter loves her MacBook Air...it's quick, versatile and easy to use. Now she gets her school work done - more missing assignments!

If you are looking for a fast light beauty of a laptop spend your money on this one and if you are a student you get a discount also.

I never have had a mac before and this thing is easy to use. Fast computer from what i am use to and would definitely buy again.

After using this MacBook Air for a few weeks now I absolutely love it. Even though I got a great deal with student discount It is still expensive for a laptop at around 1k. But after using it and comparing to my other Windows laptop I feel it is worth every bit. Truly Apple lives up to its image.

I bought this macbook air to work with. it's really light and the battery is so powerful that i only need to charge it once a day.

My daughter got this for college and it has been great. It's light easy to use and great for school and of course Netflix.

I bought this for my daughter for school. She loves that it is small and light. She uses it for classes and is easy to use.

This was a seamless move from my old MacBook Pro! Migrating my documents and information was easily done, though it did take quite some time. Although this new MacBook Air has a very similar feel as my old laptop, it is faster and makes tasks so much more enjoyable. My only negatives would be the missing HDMI port and no DVD drive. But those shortcomings can be "fixed" with attachments and "dongles."
