Love the price and the amount of space for this iPad mini. reasonable for an 11 years old birthday gift.

This is now my 3rd Mac. I operate two small businesses. The MacBookPro was a lot heavier but it did the job. I would still have it but it was in an accident. These MacBook Air's are light and easy to travel with. The first Air I bought did crash within 6 months of purchase, but of course Apple is handling that. Every computer I have owned, crashes at some point though. The nice part about it happening with Mac is that everything on the Air was in the Cloud and if you don't know APPLE has THE BEST security hands down. So when I had to purchase the second MacBook Air as soon as I started up and logged in with my credentials, everything, including my desktop was EXACTLY like it was on the crashed computer. It made it very easy to just keep going. SO word to my fellow SBO's... buy two as soon as you possibly can. It's critical to have backup everything when it comes to business.

It’s a good price for a MacBook, but it’s only meant for basic tasks. If you need a computer that can handle most complicated tasks, then going with the pro series is your best bet.

Great price for the product. MacBook Air is light, fits well in purchased case and transports easily.

This is a proven MacBook model, having only minor changes over the past year or two. It does everything you expect from a Mac with reasonable performance. Thanks to iCloud, assuming you've purchased a plan that offers enough storage, you can take advantage of a smaller hard drive. You trade off saving money on the MacBook Air for purchasing more iCloud space. However, with the later option you also have your files backed up in the cloud and accessible anywhere you get online. That said, I would still choose the 256GB hard drive to assure enough day-to-day storage. The one negative is the screen, which is not a Retina display (hence, four, not five stars). It's not terribly sharp, especially if you don't have the screen tilted at the perfect angle. All in all, for the price, this is a great choice, especially if you can catch a Best Biuy sale as I was able to do.
