I purchased this open-box MacBook Air in August and it has been running great ever since. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a light weight and easy to use computer!

Best Buy has the best student discounts, and this laptop was on sale. I'm beyond happy with this product. My three MacBooks I upgraded to, this being the third one, have all outlived the Microsoft/windows laptop I mistakenly bought in the past. It runs perfectly, battery lasts forever, is reliable, and is lightweight for school (which is important being a commuter). I had the MacBook Pro previously, and I think from now on I'll be buying the air.

Love my new MacBook Air! So easy to travel with it because of its compact size and its light weight. I'm a mouse person so am still getting used to the trackpad. But there are a lot of tips and tutorials online for learning to use the trackpad. I'm used to using an iMac and an iPad that both have a beautiful, clear screen resolution. The MacBook Air is not as clear, but that is my only complaint. I bought this on sale for a very good low price.

I needed a new computer as a second year in college, and majoring in art for a future career in digital drawing, this computer has been great. Easy to learn the interface, lightweight.

I purchased this MacBook Air to replace my aging late 2008 MacBook which still works to this day. I originally bought my MacBook in 2009 and has never failed on me. In the last 8 years, the only thing I replaced was the battery after about 5 years. The MacBook Air is slim, light and very fast. Best Buy had the best price on these machines and very pleased with the product. And also, the reward points program also helped in my decision.

I love this computer. It’s not too large and bulky that I can’t carry it anywhere so it’s perfect for me as a college student. It has everything I need for my classes and more.

For those who are aware of apple products compatibility and limitations this is one of the best laptops for school. Good for programming and other normal general school purpose. Gamers need to stay out of this ( it is obvious) for rest of the reasons like speed durability apple products have their own quality. Easy to carry for daily usuage. I own windows dell laptop and now this MacBook Air but for school purpose macbook seems to be best fit

This is my first Mac and I couldn’t be happier. As a previous pc user, it took some adjustment and learning, but I couldn’t be happier. It’s light weight, fast, and dependable.

I have enjoyed my Mac mini for years (on the second one), and recently bought the Mac Book Air for school - going to be a teacher one day! - along with an iPhone 7 (good bye T-Mobile!). I am half way through moving my music files from my Android phone to the iPhone and am using the MacBook. It is very easy and will be used a lot as I travel about. Long battery usage, ease of use and design and everything I need in one portable machine!

I got this to replace my 2011 Macbook Pro. I was a little hesitant to "downgrade" but this was so rewarding. The battery life is incredible, and since I was replacing a 5-6 year old Machine, of course everything is better. I do notice the difference without Retina display, so if that is important to you then this probably isn't the machine. Compared to any other laptop though this one is really incredible. So happy with my choice.

Bought this machine because I wanted to experience the Apple system as had several other apple products but still used Microsoft computer. Did not need a Mac Pro since I'm retired, but wanted a fast, reasonably powerful computer, light weight, easy to carry and intuitive. The Mac Book Air is my answer, learning curve is steep and I set it up right away with no assistance. Plan to take courses to learn the subtler aspects. Very satisfied.

This is a great laptop. It's lightweight and easy to take in a small bag or backpack. The computer is very fast and works well. The battery life is great making extended use easy. I do wish at times the laptop had a cd/DVD drive, but I will have to go pick one up. Overall my wife and I are pleased with the purchase and recommend it to other buyers.

If you are looking for a Macbook air with the ports that the newer models don't have, this is the way to do. This is such a fast powerful Macbook AND it's SUPER light.

This laptop does everything I need it to do. It is fast and portable. I am so glad I finally decided to replace my 2010 MacBook! This was worth the money!

I'm a young professional who uses my laptop for large Excel files, web surfing, photo storage etc. I replaced my old Dell Inspiron with this Mac. There if a definite learning curve from pc to Mac but overall I feel the laptop is easy to navigate. It is fast, plenty of storage, and best of all it is lightweight and holds a charge so I don't need to bring my charger to work everyday. I'm slightly bummed that there is no CD slot and no anchor to secure a desk lock to (like the MacBook Pro has) but I can do without. Sometimes my web surfing is slow if I have too many things open, so I took away one star, but overall i feel it is a solid laptop that will last a long time. Extra happy I didn't have to pay anything the day I bought it because I opened a Best Buy credit card

I am very pleased with this purchase. I went from a MacBook Pro to the MacBook Air. This is just what I needed for my computing needs. The MacBook Air is light, chic, and an overall efficient computer. I can't imagine that purchasing an i7 model would have been any better than the i5.

I am a 67 year old Grandmom of triplet girls! I love my new MacBook Air. It is VERY lightweight compared to my OLD MacBook Pro which I traded in! The 13" screen size is great for senior eyes and the light weight is such an improvement for my arthritic hands. It was a good decision to replace my old MacBook laptop. It is extremely fast and battery life is amazing.
