This is one of the best laptop one could get, the design, weight and specification is good. I specifically bought for IOS development and its quite fast in compling code. For a beginner to intermediate programming this is the best configuration one could get and just FYI , I got it for a price of less than $1000 (excluding Tax ) during Best Buy deals.

Machine has good performance and runs well. Compared to Windows machines it is overpriced if you look at the specs such as hard drive size and memory. But machine makes up for it size and portability.

I bought this for my wife when her old laptop died and she seems very happy with it. It's lighter than her old MacBook so she doesn't have the shoulder pain that came from carrying the old one in her bag. On top of that, it's faster. I can't say for certain that it's not due to it being new, so it remains to be seen if it holds its own overtime. The problem that came with it was if the screen was pushed back slightly, it would fall almost horizontal backwards. Since it was under warranty through Apple, we were able to get this fixed with no real problem. It was more the hassle of having to go out and fix something that was brand new. Otherwise, no conplaints

Laptop is lightweight & sleek, performs fast & is perfectly sized.

I purchased this as a replacement for an older MacBook Pro. This is much lighter and is an ease to carry to and from classes.

I absolutely love my macbook air. It is light and very user friendly. The speed is incredible and it has improved my computer usage by 100%. My old computer had no memory left and took so long to turn on or run programs. This computer does everything in a flash. It is wonderful!

I wasn't sure if I should spring for the Apple - I felt like it may have just been hyped up due to the brand - but it really is worth it. It's super lightweight which was a big selling point for me. It's also super fast, and the battery lasts forever (I probably charge it every third day or so). I'm very happy with this purchase

It is basically everything you would want in a laptop, long-lasting, smooth, perfect aesthetics and runs like a machine.

I’ve typically been a pc owner and am enjoying the Mac world. High speed processor, user friendly and great support.

After experiencing some issues becoming familiar with the operating system, I highly recommend this. Made the switch from PC as I have iPad and iPhone so made sense. But it is different and took some getting used to. But about 3 weeks in, and still a lot to learn...I love it. Light weight and portable. Fast and clear. Great product.

I personally buy only Apple products so when I convinced my company to convert, We have gotten 4 MacBook Air laptops. 3 are used in-house with 32" monitors with great results. Employees then take them home to work on. Simple, functional, trouble free. As the remaining windows computers fail, I will upgrade the rest.

The battery on my 2011 MBA was beginning to degrade (3-4 hours vs 7 hours per charge). I had to decide whether I should replace the battery or replace my MBA. Two factors pushed me to the replacement route: signs that Apple is about to discontinue the MBA and better battery life on the current model (2015). I love the form factor of the MBA and the performance is quite adequate for me (I have an iMac for heavy lifting). The current model is rated at 10+hours per charge and people attest to this. Although the display is not a Retina display, it was not a deal breaker as I'm not a graphics designer and I find the resolution adequate for my bad eyesight. :-) This 2015 MBA did not disappoint - it feels faster and the battery life is ridiculously long. I am happy with this model. Footnote: A week later, Apple rolled out its new MacBook models and the MBA only got a slight CPU speed upgrade - same chipset and everything else. It does appear that the MBA is about to drop off the MacBook line. No regrets here as the new MacBook (which appears to be the MBA's replacement)has too many minuses to me.

My windows laptop only lasted a year and a half. Since I have great satisfaction with all my other Apple products I replaced my windows laptop with the MacBook Air. I love that it is so light and thin. It is so much faster than my Windows system. It was easy to set up and syncs with my iPhone and iPad seamlessly.

I bought this for my daughter and it is so lightweight yet resilient that she takes it everywhere with her

I exchanged a Lenovo Yoga (hated the power button placement on the side for movie watching) for the MacBook Air 13. The Air has not disappointed yet. I love how light and portable it is. I also LOVE the battery life. It is slim and sleek. This laptop is nice to look at, too! Very happy with my purchase so far.

I have been going back and forth about whether or not to purchase a Mac for some years now. The cost of it was what scared me the most. After talking to multiple people who had good and not so good things to say about a Mac, I decided to take a closer look at how much I was actually spending on a Mac verses a PC. After I made the breakdown I realized that I'd be actually saving money with a Mac with all of the add ons that I'd buy for my PC with all of those items already in the Mac. I love love love my new Mac!!!!!! I wish I had bought it sooner!! I use it everyday and it's AWESOME!! I am a school teacher and I can do everything on it. I even downloaded Microsoft Office 365.

This is my first mac laptop after years of working on windows. Impressed by 3 things, lightweight, speed and instant startup. Bought 256gb as suggested by many friends. Fits in my small backpack so very comfy. Some suggested that I should have bought mac pro but so far I don't see a need for it.
