For average everyday uses, such as word processing, web browsing, and email, this is a great Macbook computer. It is very light and easy to carry around. The screen is not retina display, but it is of excellent quality. Someone just going to college should definitely consider this.

The staff at Best Buy was very helpful and knowledgeable. Have other apple computers and I like using them. The Air is lightweight and easy to use.

As a former PC owner, I am thrilled with my very first Mac. It takes a little while to get used to the Mac layout, but I'm already pretty saavy with it. The Best Buy representative was very helpful in answering my litany of questions, as I prepared to make the PC-Mac transition. I would give 5 stars for the quality of the laptop and the customer service I received in-store. However, I am removing one star because this purchase was an "open box" item that was missing several standard apps that are supposed to come with the computer. I didn't find this out until I got the product home. Thankfully, the Apple tech people assisted me with complimentary download codes to restore these apps to my Mac. And, the Best Buy store manager apologized for the inconvenience with $30 in store credit which I appreciated. Overall, minus that one glitch, this was a great first Mac purchase experience!

This is our second MacBook, the first one was a "MacBook Pro" lasted 10 years and is still going! Decided to get a MacBook Air this time as we only needed it for Internet search and sometimes checking emails. My 7 year old uses it more than myself or my wife (school and internet games!).

This is my second MacBook Air. I am happy that this one has the 13inch display, as the 11inch was just too small. Great machine. One issue is that instead of Webroot I was given Kaspersky - I tried it and quickly switched from Kaspersky to Webroot. Webroot is much less intrusive.

I have been a Mac user for many years and purchased the MacBook Air to replace my seven year old 15" MacBook Pro. The MacBook Air performs great, and the smaller 13" screen is not a problem. That was a concern, but it is OK. One thing I really like is the light weight of the Air.

This laptop rocks! It will be perfect for my school work and just playing around. It is so fast and the screen picture is great.

I was a little nervous transitioning from Microsoft to Mac but it was great...this model is also so sleek and light weight.... it also offers a lot more than your standard laptop... I mainly bought a mac because they are so tough against viruses and this still holds true in my experience.

Bought this laptop for stepdaughter's 18th birthday/graduation gift. She will be going to college this fall. We own an older version and have loved it. She is loving it and learning how to use it and navigate everything with it. She is excited about everything that it is able to do.

I have used apple products for years and find them intuitive to use, very functional and reliable. They rarely if ever freeze, apple care is incredibly helpful and I have never regretted a purchase. They are always more money than their competitors but always seem worth the it.

I wish I would have bought this years ago. Way better than windows. This laptop is made very well and seems very sturdy. Have used everyday a lot and have not had one problem. No crashes, No restarts. I can do so much more because I am not waiting on my page to load. recommend!

I love everything about my new gadget! It's very easy to use & carry around, especially for someone with a busy lifestyle. It's even very durable.

Another fantastic Apple product, it does everything it's supposed to, operates smoothly and without hiccups, OS Mac is a breeze and improvement of Windows. Lightweight and portable with great battery life. A tactile and ergonomic keyboard as well as the great features of the trackpad.

I got this to replace my MacBook Pro that was already old and just happen to start making stuff on its own. So I got this in a good price with a good bargain amount down and expect from it to work at least like the old one.

Got this one for my daughter for school with the best deal (on sale and no sale tax). She really loved the look, the resolution, and the weight. It is perfect for her to carry to school for project and doing homeworks. Best Buy customers are very friendly and knowledgeable

Bought this for my son's graduation present from College to replace his old we bought in high school. He loves it and preferred this version without all the bells and whistles of the touch bar versions. We are satisfied and will continue to purchase Aoole products.

Needed a new laptop for college and decided it was time to get something a bit more updated. If your going to use this laptop to its fullest capabilities then it is worth the purchase. If only need for simple word documents and web browsing their are much cheaper alternatives.
