Personally I don't get the love-fest for Macbooks but kids can't seem to live without them. Admittedly it's nice to look at, sleek, and the apps/programs tie in rather seamlessly. I've always hated the proprietary (read: greedy) nature of Apple products like having to make a concrete decision on hard-drive size without the ability to (easily) expand. Gripes on business strategy aside, this does what it's supposed to. Good laptop for someone that's using it to write papers, do presentations, surf the net, and stream media.

We bought this laptop for my daughter to use for college! She loves it! Staff was extremely helpful. No pressure!!

My daughter has been waiting for a mac book so we went after Christmas and looked and found one at Best Buy she liked.the sales person was very helpful and explained everything about it and my daughter uses it for school and she is getting better grades so win win

We talked to 3 different best buy representatives on different occassions to hear different opinions. They all had great input about a Mac purchase and we finally bought the mac air for my daughter. She can now do her homework and take her Mac anywhere, so no excuses!

We bought this for my wife to switch from an older MacBook Pro to the MacBook Air. So far we are in the process of uploading all the photos she had on the Pro. We are careful because we would hate to lose any treasured photos. We think the Air will be perfect.

I've now had two macs and I have loved each of them !!! I'm now proud to have a mac book air to add to the family, it's so light was and gives me all the computing power a person could need. Thanks apple and thank you Best Buy for offering it at an affordable price!!

Love it so far! Had to replace a 5 year old Mac that had an unfortunate accident with a cup of coffee. So far, we love this one just as much. I hope that it works just as long if not longer than the last one.

What a solid sleek and sound investment. Get Applecare for 3 yrs. Not that there are known issues, but I have used it 1x on each of my macs and it paid for itself. The Air is all most people need, MacBook Pro is my old laptop after an ibook. Glad This option is here.

Purchased the MacBook Air for my son, who is returning to college for his masters degree . Got a great promotional price . He felt he didn't need a new computer. But after using it he absolutely loves it. Downside.. I now need to purchase a new air printer.

This is my first Apple computer and I am so happy I made the switch. All my electronics are now apple and will always be. I don't use a computer at home for much...some internet browsing, paying bills, storing photos etc, but the speed and reliability is on point.

You can't go wrong with a Mac. It is reliable and user friendly. We are very happy with our decision to purchase it. Purchasing it through Best Buy made a difference for us because they are local and the employees there are always plentiful and helpful.

I've been an iPhone user for many years and also have the Apple Watch. Have been an HP Laptop user for a long time but always wanted a MacBook. Got it on sale, it was a great buy at $899. Happy with this purchase. It's a great laptop. No issues so far.

I replaced my 8-year-old Mac Book with a Mac Book Air and it delivered. It was super easy to setup, and actually copied over everything I wanted from the old Mac Book seamlessly through the wi-fi. It's super fast, which is the main reason I needed to upgrade.

The Apple MacBook 13" was in fact the "Best Buy" for what we needed. It's got great performance and the battery life is pretty impressive as we usually get about 6-7 hours out of a full charge. I would highly recommend this for content writers, students, etc...

This has been my second personal laptop, although we have had several in our home. I got this for college, and I really enjoy it. It works smoothly and super quickly. I've also picked up video-editing as a hobby since they have great software for that.

I bought 2, one for my 8th grader and one for my 9th grader and they love it
