I WOULD RECOMMEND THE MAC BOOK TO ANYONE STARTING COLLEGE IT HAS A LONG BATTERY LIFE VERY LIGHT WEIGHT AND EASY TO WORK WITH.

Needed the laptop for work- have owned previous versions of the same. It is light and fast. Also has built in voice recognition software for dictating so didn't need to buy separate software for the same. Battery life good.

This is a great device for doing your class or school work on the go. It has an outstanding battery life, as well as other great attributes such as the screen, speakers, and the backlit keyboard. It weighs very little and is extremely thin for ultra portability.

Fast, lightweight, and durable computer to carry around. Works great with LINUX and programs like Stata to run statistical analyses on large data sets. Battery lasts at minimum all day if you use it the entire day running programs and typing out essays and papers.

I bought this Mac for editing my HD video photography videoed. IMovie comes with the Mac and does exactly everything I needed for editing my home videos. Originally I had to purchase video editing software for my WIndows laptop. Also had memory lock up issues while editing through Windows. Have not had any memory problems with the Mac. I also like iMovie comes free with the Mac.

I was reading a lot of reviews and comparative tests, and all suggested the Macbook Air to be To be honest I am NOT an Apple lover. In fact, I consider a lot of the Apple products hugely overpriced, for what they offer. Well, let me tell you that the Macbook Air is absolutely amazing for what it delivers. I purchased the macbook air after I damaged my 8 year old Macbook Pro and I have since purchased an iMac so I wasn't in need of all the major bells and whistles and tons of storage space. The weight difference between my older macbook pro and this macbook air is amazing. I can now use it as a carry on without feeling super weighed down. I appreciate that this model still has the USB drive as well as the SD card reader which it appears Apple is doing away with. It's been running super smoothly and got it for a great price since it's considered an older model now!

I have boughten PC after PC and every time there is always an issue where the fix is more expensive than just going out to buy a new one. This is my first Mac computer purchase and I am completely satified with it! The computer is slim, FAST, durable, and the operating system is easy to learn. If you feel lost, Apple offers free classes in their stores. They even do a free transfer of all of your files from your old PCs. The greatest thing about this computer is the seamless integration with your iPhone and Apple Watch. I would say that if you're an iPhone owner, try this out for even just the return period and you'll be happy. (you probably won't want to return it)

I bought this macbook air for my girl friend and she likes it very much. Very light but powerful enough for her. Everything's pretty quick and nice looking. Would recommend! But if you need to do a lot of calculation of coding, I would recommend Macbook Pro.

I know the MacBook Air is aging and I know people say you can get faster for cheaper which is true but not only do you buy into an eco system. The MacBook is a solid long term performer. Sure this is an older gen i5 but you get 8GB ram and 256 of NvMe SSD storage. The screen resolution is not full Hd but that attributes to the amazing battery life of the Air. It's not a pro and takes up the same amount of real estate but man it's comfortable to type on. Plenty of wrists rests space. Oh yeah this is the last "new" MacBook you can get that still has Mag safe, USB ports and thunderbolt. The thing about MacBooks is Apple gets top shelf components for the silicon and hardware. This aids in the long lasting durability. This review comes from someone with a custom gaming rig with Windows 10. Don't be a fanboy. Be a fan of technology.

Laptop by definition needs to be portable and yet extremely functional. This laptop is just that. Pleasantly light and lightning fast. I am using Adobe Photoshop on the road and I do not notice any differences from my iMac at home at all. Perfect!

Light, fast, and sleek. Replaced my 2012 MacBook Pro with this MacBook Air. As with most Apple products, the functionality is superb. The design is phenomenal. Great for students, especially for those taking their laptops to class every day.

I have found my MacBook Air to be a very good computer. To me it seems to be well built. It is very fast. Its the right size for me. I prefer the computer to my iPad. The keyboard is much more to my liking. The 256G storage allows me to save much more data. Also BestBuy had an excellent price for the computer. It was dramatically less than the Apple Store or any competitor I could find. Quality and price drove my purchasing decision. I feel very good about my decision.

Finally upgrading from my G3 apple computer after 14 years. So far I have been really happy with this mac. Nice and light weight, super fast. Simple to use and set up. I also purchased the adobe creative suite to use on my mac and am loving it.

I enjoy my Apple MacBook Air. It is so easy to use and it is fast.
