Open box was logged into another user I was unable to use so I returned

Excellent laptop for high schooler. Lots of new great features.

I got this for my wife for Christmas and she just loves it. She loves how it seamleasly syncs up with her iPhone and has a lot of memory for the music and pictures she loves to have. It was easy to set up for her and didn’t take her any time at all to learn how to use being that she went from a windows computer to an Apple. The sales associate who took the time to talk with us and explain all the different MacBooks and their features and memory was amazing and helped us make the decision as to which one to purchase.

The MacBook Air is my second MacBook before I had the MacBook Pro 2010 it was awesome and still working great just the technology was a little out dated and speed wasn’t half the speed of my new MacBook Air the battery life is incredible multitasking is a snap and internet connection is very fast the only drawback is can’t increase storage space but very light and portable

Pretty good macbook i had it since 2017.... but it reached its life its now 2024 and it died on me :( but i hot a new mac so hope it works just as well as this one

best computer, you can't go wrong coming from an android user

Husband bought me MacBook Air for Xmas. Had a few months with only me using. Computer really sat in one spot, on a high table. Started smelling burning, USB was brown. I had not used USB but then recall getting message it was "not working." So googled and found it's a problem with MacBooks. Called Geek Squad they documented problem, said bring it in. Got it back with only a note "OS updated" and the burning smell still there. Called Geek Squad back and they said "sorry" bring in again. So then we get a call there's "WATER DAMAGE" and it's not covered and $1000 to fix. I can tell you, there was never any water on that computer. After a very nice Geek Squad member (Kenneth R. in Salt Lake UT - thank you Kenneth!) combed through my service record, he said there was NO water damage the first time they saw it. He also saw they ordered parts for the burned USB, but then suddenly the record was changed to "OS updated" with no explanation. Geek Squad never fixed the burning USB but sent it back with water damage? Though Best Buy finally did the right thing, I will NEVER buy an Apple product from them. Go straight to Apple. Keep in mind, water damage is not covered by AppleCare so I couldn't have even gotten that now that the laptop was "water damaged." What a nightmare!

not the biggest apple fan but it does it's job. I hoped that it got a little more ports other that two usb ports

The new MacBook Air i7 is a sham of a product, it is a 5th gen i7, go ahead and read the specifications on it. The 512gb ssd is the only thing that makes this worth Anything to a consumer. You're better off buying a Pro or a "lower config" Air, very few people truly need the extra storage.

I am sure it is a great computer, but it isn't exactly what they say it is. According to the specs there is an optical DVD drive and ethernet port....there is NOT. I'm frustrated because I chose this model over the pro because I thought I would miss having the DVD drive AND I didn't want a bunch of adaptors to buy. Spoke to rep on phone who says if it says it has it, it should....basically told me I could return it. I asked if they were going to correct the specs and he said he could try to inform them to review the specs on the computers....to me that means more than likely they will not fix it here....so I am letting you know...NO OPTICAL DRIVE and NO ETHERNET PORT. I really want this computer as marketed....or for them to give me an external DVD drive and the ethernet adaptor at no charge, because to keep this computer I now need to buy those. Back to Best Buy tomorrow for me, hope they help me or they will have another open box item to discount!!! Frustrated!

Still don't have one of my own but I've used it from my friends! Love it! Hoping to buy one since I'm in college.

Overall it's an average MacBook, had it since 2/16/2018. I hardly use it now because I'm mostly on my phone. None the less I might update.

terrible. The laptop had to be replaced at my own cost 2 years later.
