My MacBook Pro of 7 years finally gave up on me so I had to replace it. I'm a screenwriter and I wanted to easily transfer my data and get something that was extremely portable. This does everything I want and it's so much faster. My only quibbles are that it doesn't have standard USB ports and I had to purchase a connection dock for my flash drives etc. There's also no DVD player like the 2013 Pros had. This probably won't bother most people, but as a writer/actor I often use DVDs to research old movies that I can't find streaming. Other than that, great machine. It also has great battery life and I haven't experienced any overheating yet. ( I've had it about a month.)

I have had trouble with all other brands of computers and have finally found a great one with Apple. It runs amazing, even with multiple windows or applications open. The tracking and serve is super fast and efficient and the battery will last for multiple days with moderate usage. This is a great computer for all usage, but I especially love it as a college student since all of my contacts, messages, documents and applications is available on all of my products now (phone and computer).

Have been an avid Mac user since 2011. I own a MacBook Pro that still works but wanted to upgrade for more speed and more portability. This MacBook Air is a great little laptop with a lot of functionality. It runs very fast even with several programs operating at one time. I’ve purchased two more for my college kids. Such easy navigation and never have issues with virus overload like I did with windows operating systems. These computers last forever if you take care of them. You will never go wrong buying a Mac and it is well worth the price tag.

Lightweight, very easy to carry, fast, detailed images on screen. These Airs get closer and closer to a full feature laptop. Added a 128 GB hub, but these are meant to save documents and files to the cloud. Like all Apple products, the design is a major part of the appeal. More expensive than other brands, but if you have other Apple products it makes sense to continue with the brand. Be aware that there are only two thunderbolt ports; you'll need hubs or dongles to connect to a non-Apple tv, usb devices, camera cards--just about everything.

I had the older model before purchasing this and the battery was completely fried so I upgraded. It's a great laptop and although pricey, you kind of know what you're getting with a Mac. It's super light, battery lasts really long and the touch ID button is quite handy. The major downside to this is that there are no USB outputs anymore, but I don't think Apple will be bringing that back. If you plan on plugging anything in with a USB, you're going to have to buy an adapter.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We are very happy with our laptop choice - our son has used Apple products throughout his elementary and high school education. So it was only appropriate we continue using Apple. We chose the MacBook Air 13.3 - it is light and easy to transport in college. He loves it! Thank you Best Buy for making it so easy to purchase on-line and pick-up at your store. If you are looking for a perfect size and efficient functioning laptop - this one is for you!

This is my 2nd Mac and I love it! Once again the processor is super fast. My previous Mac still had a disc drive so the sleek air design is so perfect! Everything transferred from iCloud directly and the transition was super smooth! Another nice feature is the Touch ID to unlock and for quick purchases in the App Store!

I love this MacBook air, it's light, easy to carry and yet very effective. I had read a lot of reviews by other users that the MacBook Airs are slow, however, I have owned this model for almost a year, and I have to say that the Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB makes it very efficient and fast. I love the stylish look and not to mention, the Touch ID is a great convenience where you do not have to type in your password for every little thing.

The reason why I chose this laptop is because I needed something light to commute to school with as a student, i needed someone fast and efficient, and quick to turn on as my older toshiba laptop would take up to 3 mins to turn on! This was the perfect fit for me as the battery life is long, I can resume work anywhere that i am, and it feels like carrying a notebook around (I have back problems). The keyboard took a little time to get used to but I’m adjusting well

I love mine! I love how it is so light weight and small but still gives me all the key features I need for school. If you are in college trying to decide between the MacBook Pro & the Air, I would say go with the Air (unless you’re into programming or video editing or something along those lines) because not only is it cheaper, but I feel like if I bought the Pro I wouldn’t utilize the features that made it that expensive.

The Apple - MacBook Air 13.3" Laptop with Touch ID - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 128GB Solid State Drive (Latest Model) - is the best laptop for most users. It has a crisp display and is quite fast. I added Microsoft office for MAC and Norton Security. If you are a gamer or a graphic artist you may want to purchase a laptop or even a desktop with more fire power for your applications. The rest of us enjoy long battery life, sharp images and a fast processor for most routine tasks.

I love this lightweight model. I have had several MacBooks over the years, each one getting a little smaller and a little lighter. I prefer the small size and weight. This one is the best so far! I also love the gold color of this one! I got my MacBook Air using a Black Friday Deal, which was the cheapest deal I'd seen. This couldn't have been a better time for me to buy it.

I have always loved Apple products, and this MacBook Air is no exception. It's thin, light, and pretty solid in its performance. The only reason I just upgraded to the new 16 inch MacBook Pro is because the 128GB SSD was not enough storage to really hold what I needed it to. And the 8GB of RAM was my fault for overlooking at purchase. It's great for a school student or for casual browsing of the web, or chats. It's not strong enough for editing or running multiple large apps at the same time - you will definitely feel the lag if you try it. Overall, it's a great laptop for basic, general use with little to no need for larger storage.

I use this for work and absolutely love it. I particularly like Apple products as they tend to last me 5 to 10 years on the low side. I would have given this a 5 star review, but the version I purchased was 128GB storage. Space is usually not an issue as I heavily rely on cloud storage for my photos and files. You can't upgrade anything on the device which is disappointing and it only has USB-C ports which requires an adapter to connect it to other devices. Otherwise, the battery life, speed, and simplicity makes it still quite useful despite the drawbacks. I would recommend a 256GB for the lowest storage space selected.

In love with this model and I like that it is very lightweight. I carry it with me to school and work. Very functional and easy to use. The only thing with this laptop is if you need a USB port or SD (to insert pics from cameras), you would need to buy the adapter as this laptop does not come with these ports.
