Had to exchange first one! It made weird fan noises and would freeze up. Exchanged it and new one gas had no issues! Much faster than my 2015 MBA, sleeker and lighter. Love the Touch ID abs the pretty gold color!

I finally was able to purchase an Apple computer product, After much research, I decided on the MacBook Air. I am glad I did. This MacBook Air is compact and lightweight yet durable and solid. It is quick and has a great amount of storage. I bought this MacBook Air in the gold color and it looks good too. The audio is not only great on music but on all other audio - what great stereo sound. This is truly an all-around great product whether it is used for professional or personal use. In a word - Exquisite!!!!!

Had an early 2011 MacBook Pro, and it was on its last legs. I think I had forgotten what it was like to have a computer that: worked fast, didnt need to be plugged into power constantly, and could run multiple apps/webpages/documents all open at the same time.

I was still using my old MacBook Pro for work and it started running really slow not to mention it was heavy carrying in my work bag. This MacBook Air is perfect, fast & light weight and works amazing for work and all my day to day. The Touch ID is so convenient to easily unlock my computer and for all my online purchases.

I have both the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and this MacBook Air. Comparatively, I think this MacBook is great in terms of price and performance. I wouldn't recommend spending more on the Pro unless you intend on using it for photo editing or anything that really requires the performance of the Pro. The air is great for everyday use, students, and work. Highly recommend.

Love my MacBook Air with Touch ID (great feature). Bought this (open box) to do online school work with. I was worried about compatibility issues with school but so far haven't had any. Runs fast, syncs well with my Iphone. Love the rose gold color. No issues with viruses so far as is typical with Apple products. Highly recommend!

Well - trying to see if Apply can get me the same as Microsoft and I do like the design, speed and weight of the laptop. Getting use to the apps and what the differences are - still a learning curve. The hardware is performing very well under all the stress I can put under it.

Have wanted to buy the MacBook Air for the last year or so. Finally made the decision to retire my 2007 17" MacBook Pro which has been super reliable for all these years. What really pushed me to make the decision was the weight of the Pro which was about six and a half pounds. I travel a lot and the weight was literally killing me even with a small carry-on with wheels. We did a migration of everything on my old Pro onto the new Air. It took about eight hours since we used a wifi connection to do it. But everything transferred perfectly onto the new Air. Macs are so amazing. I can't imagine trying to do this with anything but a Mac. The new Air is so light-weight and everything about it is top-notch. So glad I made the change. Would recommend this Air to anyone that is looking for something a bit smaller and yet is so reliable. It has a really nice keyboard, great display and well, it's a Mac, what can I say. Once you get used to a Mac, it's pretty much impossible to go to even a ChromeBook which I tried for a few months. I just couldn't do it. Also, the sales rep that helped us make the purchase was excellent. He did as good a job selling the Mac as an official Apple store employee. He took his time with us and we really appreciate the level of service and the time invested before our purchase. All around great service and great product.

Lifting the cover and I discovered how easy the laptop set itself up. I expected a long learning process as my old Mac was from 2011. It’s light weight and easy to transport. And oh so thin because of no extra driver. And, it fits my VeraBradley pouch. Perfect.

I had a toshiba for 9 years before this laptop (which I loved), but going to medical school I knew I was going to need something lightweight, and with long battery life and speed. Thus far, this laptop is doing the trick. Super easy to use and a cute color I might add!

I had been carrying around a 2012 MacBook Pro for years. When my trusted sidekick started to die, I had to find a new computer. I was skeptical that any of the new models would satisfy me, to be honest. I was used to having so many ports and a CD-drive. I wasn't interested in having a touch bar and was hoping for something a little cheaper, so I checked out the MacBook Air. I tried out the keyboards of both the MacBook Airs and the MacBook Pros at BestBuy. I could be wrong, but I found it easier to type on the Air. I knew I had already used somewhere around 130GB, so I invested in a 256GB model. Boy, I'm glad I did. I had no idea that laptops could be so light! The speed of the processor is lightening fast compared to what I experienced before. And the visuals! The retina screen is stunning. I was and remain continually impressed by the audio quality, too. This little computer is louder than my old computer, at the fraction of the volume. I've found that only having two ports hasn't actually been that much of problem. I was already carrying a dongle around for my last computer. I just have a different dongle now. The keys on the keyboard are less raised than they were on my old Pro. This took some getting used to (because typing requires less finger pressure and the typing sound is different), but now I'm clacking away at my old pace. Issues I've encountered: I've experienced three random moments in which the screen suddenly goes black. I purchased this computer in early February, so we've been together for about two months now. It hasn't happened for a least a month now. I'm thinking the last update might have fixed something. In the beginning, Preview had a tendency to crash whenever I used the highlighting function. That issue appears to be resolved now.

We are very happy with our MacBook. It is very fast and has a lot of storage space. The sleek design and light weight is a bonus and makes it easy to carry to the office, coffee shop, or use poolside. And all for an affordable price.

Great computer, I purchased this one because they discontinued the 12” MacBooks. I was waiting for an upgrade to them until I found out Apple did away with them entirely. But this one has better insides and ultimately can do the same stuff, just a little quicker. :)

My old MacBook Pro lasted nine years but when it was time to replace it I wanted to look at something with a lower price. The Air fit the bill on overall cost. The i5 processor is fast enough and this model is sufficient for my hobby photography and basic social media and email. Very easy to use and I like the fingerprint ID password feature.

She chose it for the color... ha! It’s a Mac air book. Fast. Super light. Handy for teaching and ‘wagging around.’ Connectivity requires dongles aside from the basic - annoying, but that’s the way of things... we won’t be selling it.

This is by far a much better generation laptop! By far I made the right choice, longer battery life, easier access with the one touch access to unlock it, lighter too. Dry happy with my purchase!!
