Love the light weight and how easy the MacBook is to use. Runs great. I do wish I had got to the bigger MacBook Pro. The whole “laptop” is small so I feel like I have some adjusting to get used too. Other than me not being used to the smaller size, I love it!

This is my first Apple computer after using HP/Lenovo, and this laptop is amazing! Now I understand what everybody meant when they said these computers are so fast and efficient. I LOVE how fast the computer operates, there is no lag on any of the programs I have used so far.
This computer is also incredibly light! I can fit it into my purse and take it anywhere, it's making me rethink using my iPad as my on-the-go device.
So far, it's definitely worth the investment.

Love how light and thin this MacBook Air is, also the operating system, music, movie and picture editing even with basic software is fun and the whole ecosystem and how smooth all its devices work with it, like iPhone, iPad and AppleTV.. Battery is long lasting and materials and construction feels solid..Brlliant and beautiful display.

Pros: very good form factor and of course Mac OS and it's stability(Boo Windows 10 updates). Longish battery life.
Cons: Gets hot and loud when few apps are open including like garage band. Slower SSD than previous generation.

I bought this for my daughter and I love it. The speed is awesome, very smooth, and the size is perfect. The fingerprint unlock is very easy to access into it. The only negative that I noticed is the speaker is located on the dashboard, right asides of the keyboard which think will be clogged by dust and other particles. I also found out that the charger usb is little hard to remove from the laptop. Other than this, I love it.

I love this product! I am not a big time computer person, but I can hold my own. This MB-Air performs everything that I need it to do, and more. Holds battery life for a long period of time. I hesitate to put a number on it, but I can tell you I have operated for a day or more w/o plugging in, and saw no issues. This is a quality product . . . aa little expensive, but gives the average user much more then they need.

This is the first Mac I've owned since a 2009 Macbook, which compared to this is a tank. I'm primarily a PC person, but I always have a desire to own a Mac too, so I finally jumped on this new MacBook Air, because of the price point, the recent upgrades to the screen, SSD, and processor. I think Apple really has a hit on it's hands with this one. The price is reasonable for a laptop with this build quality and specs in my opinion. It's quite snappy and it's a fun departure from Windows 10 for a bit when I'm using it.
Only thing that would be nice is a touchscreen, as I have found myself trying to use the screen several times until I remember it doesn't have one lol The keyboard works pretty well for me so far, although it does take a little getting used to such a short travel distance. The trackpad is excellent.
It does run WoW (had to at least see lol), but it's definitely not made for gaming. Macbook Pro or PC would be much better if you plan on wanting to do any gaming.

Great computer... wonderfully convenient in how light and portable it is. Last laptop was an old school white MacBook and this is a big difference, including the feel of the keyboard... doesn’t have the same Mac keyboard ‘light tap’ sound, more of ‘light click’ but I’m supportive and I appreciate its innovative flavor in sound. I find it to be very quick in processing speed. Looking forward to pushing its limits. Thanks, Mac.

1 year ownership review, with 1 school year down with the Mac. So, I'm a PC guy, but my daughter wanted a Mac for school, because she is an art student and wanted "the standard" for art education. Well, it's exactly what you'd expect, it runs smooth as glass, the sound is amazing, the picture is beautiful, there are no glitches, it is exactly what you'd expect for a Mac, a beautiful and dependable machine.
We bought the all in one dongle, which gives USB, HDMI, and Micro SD support, and then that was all she needed. Now, here we are at the end of the school year, and it runs like the day we bought it. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Mac. Basically, if you like the Apple eco system, buy this, you'll love it. If you aren't in to the Apple eco system, then don't buy it, because yes, you can buy the same specs for cheaper. The money goes to the "known" - it's a Mac, and it's going to be beautiful and work well, just what I wanted for her. Now, as for me, I'm going to go back to my overclocked, rigged up PC and see how fast Ican make it run.
