    Got this for my son who is an Applephile (I'm not) and he seems to love it. Links to his watch, phone and iPad. My wife has a Dell with similar specs plus touchscreen for hundreds less. Get it if you need the Apple badge.

    The MacBook Air is a great replacement for something like a Chromebook, but it doesn't replace a laptop. I went in to look for something to replace my 2010 MacBook as it was aged and slowing down majorly in productivity. I am returning back to school soon and usually have 3-6 internet tabs open while listening to music on a daily basis even without schooling, so I need a computer that can keep up. Ended up trading it in for the MacBook Pro because it couldn't keep up with my web browsing and music listening at the same time without lagging. Great for those just browsing the net or using a program solo!
