Before I bought this I was using an HP Pavilion, although they are different I would say purchasing this item you get a lot more battery life and more accessories available for protection. However, I think that the HP was more accessible because of the ports it had available. There are other factors as well however I would say I am glad I bought this macbook because it has yet to have failed me.

As a previous MacBook owner, I appreciate how lightweight yet powerful this MacBook Air is. I primarily use mine for working remotely from home. The storage capacity and battery life are much better than my previous MacBook Air from around 2014. The only con is sometimes the fan can be noisy when several applications and windows are open, but overall it does the job.

I decided on the Air since it was a good price and seemed to have the capabilities I wanted. I mostly use my computer for streaming tv, movies and working, I've liked it so far but does have some downside that I was aware of. One thing I really hate are the c-ports, its super inconvenient to buy a bunch of attachment to use basic computer things and the magnetic charger was so much better as over time the c-port will scratch the paint on the computer. It also has loud fans. It does get hot but not much more than my old computer, its just annoying with the fan. One thing I really like is the improvement on the speakers. I'm happy with the purchase but I really need Apple to go back to normal ports.

It has been hard to get used to the MacBook coming from regular PC use. I live many of the features, the lightweight feel, sleek style, integration with my other Apple products, and the battery life. It is not compatible with all of my college programs and functions that I need it for though, such as Revit, Bluebeam, and test taking through examity. Also, the messaging feature is not turning off easily so I have to research that to find out why. Otherwise, this is a great setup with a lot of potential. It is fast and quiet and much more resistant to viruses than my pc.

I really like this MacBook Air. It is lightweight, and fairly easy to use for basic things, since I’m somewhat familiar with Apple. I have the watch, phone, and iPad. However, there is more to it than the other products, and there is no manual, so I struggle with figuring things out. I’m not very tech savvy, and a simple manual would not be too much to ask, considering the price tag. I did order this online, and it was easy, although I would have preferred going into my local Best Buy. Sadly, company policy became so customer un-friendly and unhelpful that I can no longer go there. I miss the person to person service and the wonderful manager at my Best Buy.

This is just the perfect size laptop and it was so easy to set up. I really like how fast it charges and the charge seems to last a long time. I still have a lot to learn but so far it is working just fine. I had a 15 inch MacBook Pro that I purchased several years ago but it weighed alot compared to this one. I have been looking at this one for about a year and now I am so glad I finally made this purchase.

This was my birthday present as well as an upgrade to my previous Macbook Air (2014 256GB model), so I have to say, this runs more faster and smoother. The graphics look amazing and the screen doesn't freeze or crash when I'm typing. Glad to have more SSD space; love the color and lightweight feeling to my Mac. If anything, all that's left to buy is an external SSD; I have too many photos that don't belong.

I love this product the only down fall that I have as of now is the price for a laptop with no usb insert which means you have to buy an adapter. Mac’s are faster, easier to use, and have good software.

It’s just a thing of beauty. Slim, light, fast, lots of storage, everything you would expect from Apple. This was a gift for my wife who is not a heavy app user, so waiting for the M1 chip did not seem necessary. Saved some money buying this version. Best Buy very good about refunding some $$ when the price dropped a few days after I purchased. Very happy with product, and with Best Buy in general.

In the middle of an assignment my previous mac crashed. Finding all sites sold out for Apple Mac Best Buy had this one available. Not knowing what or if it would be a great computer and deal and having my back up against the wall with an assignment due ASAP I made the purchase. I have to say, it was the best deal and Mac I ever had. I have no regrets. I’ve had it 2 months and it’s a work horse. Love it !

i had this MacBook air for a few weeks and then apple released their brand new MacBook pro so i returned this one and purchased a pro. if apple hadn't done that i would still be having this laptop. good value for your money. comes with touch ID and apple pay just like the pro. performance was also good. but my friends told me to go pro.

This is my first MacBook laptop and I am enjoying it. I was debating between different models and even considered getting the iPad Pro. But I took a chance on this one and I don’t regret it. Works really well, nice good color, took me a bit to navigate since I’ve only used windows but it’s pretty easy. I like that I can sync my iPhone to it. It is high in price but I’ll be using it for a while. No issues

This is my second MacBook and by far it is the best laptop I have ever owned. It was the perfect addition to my Apple ensemble. It synced perfectly with my IMac, IPad and IPhone. I considered a Windows based laptop as well as the MacBook Pro. It is portable with a great battery life. The speed was impressive and new display did not disappoint

I’ve been a Windows girl all my life. I’ve only ever purchased HP laptops, and they never seem to live up to what I need them for. A few years ago, I didn’t even like Apple brand, period. But the phones and tablets I kept getting were so slow, so I finally took the plunge. It doesn’t matter if people say there’s no difference between brands: there is. I wanted something light that I could carry for schoolwork. I’m strictly online, but I like being able to put my laptop in my bag and bring it to work to do some stuff on my lunch break. Which leads me to the battery life. It is much more than I would’ve expected from a laptop. My old one lasted about 6 hours, maybe. I can get up on my day off and start on some assignments and not have to worry about thinking about plugging this one in until I’m done. I haven’t timed it, but I’ve used it most of the day and still had better left when I was done and plugged it up for the night. It really took some getting used to for me, because the Air is so different from everything I’ve used before. I love the trackpad. Anything I need to so, except typing, can be done on there. Speaking of the keyboard, it also took some getting used to, because my old laptop was 17 inches and the keyboard was definitely bigger. I also love the finger scan and the ability to sign in with my Apple Watch. Extremely convenient. I would recommend this for anyone needing something small and light to carry around and get work done on.

Love this laptop. Its size and weight are ideal, but have plenty of memory and speed.
