MacBook Air 2018 Retina is a solid upgrade for the MBA line. It is fast enough for most users. Can handle most multitasking like Web surfing, videos, emails - no problem. Recommend for those heavily invested in Apple ecosystem. For those who aren't, there are quality options for cheaper or more options at this price point. Ie. Huawei X Pro or Dell XPS 13. Pros: Lightweight, attractive design. USB3/Thunderbolt. Good battery life. Cons: Shallow Keyboard travel, low storage on base model, Low max brightness.

Upgrading from a six years old MacBook Pro and I must say this a fantastic upgrade. I no longer need the pro performance and prefer portability and this MacBook Air definitely got it. My only cons to Apple will be to at least include a US-C to USB converter in the box.

It's light and fast. Aesthetically it's perfect as well.

I love everything apple and needed a new cpu to use for school and everyday tasks. I chose to pass on the pro and wait for the new Air to come out and glad I did. I love everything about it so far. The touch ID is nice to unlock the cpu and make purchases online with Apple Pay, Nice everyday laptop and thin and light for easy travel.

Let me start by saying this is one of the most beautifully crafted devices I have ever had the pleasure of using. Its tapered design combined with its seemingly impossible lightness scream "premium" through and through." The retina display is vibrant and bright. Audio is average - nothing to write home about. Battery life has been okay - I find myself needing to plug in more often than I had hoped, but the laptops portability makes carrying a charger an easy task. It's not Apple's top-performing MacBook by any stretch, but if you're looking for a solid performing, beautifully designed device for on-the-go, you can't go wrong here.

I have the MacBook Air. It's light and small. I like it but there are a few things that I should have thought about before I purchased it. It has the new USB ports, meaning you will need to purchase a thingy to plug in your regular usb devices. On the bright side you will not need to plug in your iPhone because it already has your phone information on it. Your phone calls and messages pop right up, I like that. It doesn't have a touch screen and it doesn't have a dvd drive, but its light weight. Also, don't swipe right because you can loose the page you were working on, seriously, I have no idea where the items go.

The best laptop I’ve ever owned!!!! It’s extremely lightweight. I bring it with me everywhere. As a nursing’s student, I had more homework than hours to complete it so having something I could take with me on the go was a must. The charge lasts a long time as well.

I had to upgrade my old macbook pro, and decided to go with the macbook air because it is smaller and lighter, as I was toting it to and from school 4 days a week. It is so light, but durable as well. I would recommend this to any college student, or just people who love apple because it is so easy to use.

After having this laptop for almost over a year, I can say it is great quality and you definitely pay for what you get. You have to spend a little more than most, but I am an Apple fanatic and I can definitely say this has been one of my favorite laptops. It is light weight and durable and very easy to use :)

I went back and forth between this and the macbook pro but in the end decided the little touch bar wasn't worth the extra few hundred dollars (that's really the only thing that separates them), especially since I don't think I'd use it that much. No complaints with my choice, the Air has been an awesome purchase.

I Bought this for my son in college, he loves it. The Macbook Air is Light weight, fast and compact. The only negative is no touchscreen.

I recently purchased this to replace my old MacBook Pro and have been very pleased. I work in family courts and type a lot and this laptop makes it easy! The transfer from my old to new was simple and I would recommend this to a friend. Only downside is you must also purchase a hub to allow you to use USB or memory cards.

I had been wanting a macbook for years, and I finally got to get one! I used this laptop a lot during school, and now I just use it for everyday things now! I loved how thin and light it was so it didn't hurt my shoulders while I brought it to school in my backpack, and I loved how fast it was too! 10/10 recommend!
