This little powerhouse is amazing! I’ve owned a Mac desktop since they were first released in the 80s, and thought I’d be giving up the power of a desktop, but this little honey was a big step up instead. Not only did it cost about a fourth of my last Mac, but it is zippy fast, has a long battery life and is oh,so portable. The clarity of the screen is top notch and connectivity to my peripherals was so easy. I’m so glad I purchased this!

The screen provides a clean and sharp image along with vibrant colors with a high resolution. The MacBook’s performance is very impressive along with the fact it comes with high end processors. Overall the MacBook is very nice, it comes with high quality materials and processors with a premium finish to it.

With the M1 and now M2 processors Apple brings excellent performance to their entry level MacBooks. The Retina Display is less bright than on a MacBook Pro, but entirely more than adequate indoors. Build quality and design are typically Apple; the best. Chose your storage and ram carefully because they are not upgradable and you can keep a MacBook for years before it feels dated.

If you are going into college and looking for a laptop that is really good and doesn't break the bank, GET THIS ONE! If you only plan to write essays and occasionally watch netflix in your bed, this is the perfect computer. Performs very well! Don't let the apple store bully you to pay an additional $200 for this. My biggest suggestion color wise is to get the Space Gray. The midnight blue smudges really easy, while the space gray is barely noticable.

Very good laptop for anyone looking to do everyday tasks and even some slightly intensive tasks. Battery life for browsing the web and watching videos is incredible and the laptop is very light and easy to travel with. Huge upgrade over the intel macs and extremely capable.

The image quality is amazing! Also, with the Migration Assistant, it was very easy to transfer files from my old iMac. I love how lightweight and compact it is, and yet the screen is big enough to have multiple windows open and not be squinting at them. You also don’t have to worry about what surface you place it on because there’s no fan. Big performance out of a conveniently small laptop!

Apple knocked it out of the park with this one! The new design is really nice. I was worried about the camera indent (like the iPhone's) being an eyesore but they actually raised the screen on both sides of it, as opposed to dropping the notch down. It fits perfectly in between the menu bar. It is really light, very fast and looks incredible!

I bought the mac a year ago, since my old computer wasn’t working anymore. I have to say it is so useful, I take it everywhere. There are times when my phone is dead but luckily i’m able to charge it with the computer everything works great and it hasn’t gotten slow overtime or anything. Works great!

I purchased this computer as a secondary computer to do small tasks when I want to be away from my desk. I have been using it for a couple months now. Overall design: it’s sleek, no more butterfly keys, and I think the midnight color is amazing (it does fingerprint very easily). I will say the sharp edges when typing can dig into your skin depending on the position you are typing. Battery life: I’ve only charged this device a handful of times. It’s insane. Also MagSafe is on this device which is nice. Screen: the screen is good. I understand it’s an Air but for the extra price I don’t feel like you are gaining much from the M1 so a nicer screen could have helped the higher price. It does get brighter than the M1 Air but barely. Weight: it’s an Air. It weights 2.5 pounds and has no fan. I sometimes forget how light it is when I pick it up. Overall I recommend this product. For an extra $200 you are gaining some nice quality of life features the M1 Air is missing. Also don’t listen to the backlash about slow SSD speeds. I have never ran into an issue.

Sleek design with excellent speed and battery life

The Mac Book Air with the M2 chip is a very nice laptop. It is fast, quiet and weighs only 2.7 lbs. It replaces a 2012 Mac Book Pro. There is really no comparison. Although some of the Apple changes in system preferences are taking some adjustment to get used to, overall, it is a great improvement. And the Best Buy price was the best anywhere.
