Not sure what I expected but found out a mouse is definitely needed with this product. It charges up to 80% and then goes into some sort of holding pattern. I’m sure haven’t covered all the instructions but probably wouldn’t recommend to someone else I liked.

Great computer love it the best computer I have ever buy

I have not bought myself a computer since the 2017 MacBook 12" that I sold in 2020. I have been an iPad user since making the sell, but recently, I found myself missing having an actual computer with Mac OS and, thankfully, there was a sale so I was able to get this at a better price. I have been so happy to have made this purchase. This MacBook Air is so light! I even slap a hardshell case on and it is still super thin and light. I love that MagSafe has come back, not only freeing up one of the two ports, but also providing extra peace of mind in the case of the cable being tripped over. The braided cable is a nice, high-quality touch, too. The screen is larger than those before it and it is noticeable (my work computer was an older Air and had the 13.3"). The notch in the middle does not both me as it is there to provide more screen real-estate around on either side. This also houses a noticeably improved FaceTime camera. The keyboard is so wonderful to type on and provides my favorite typing experience to date. Everything is tactile and with a perfect amount of travel to provide feedback, but not to slow down the typing experience. The Touch ID/Power button is larger and has a divot for your finger, which is a nice little touch. I love the full function keys at the top row. Another change I enjoy is the hidden speakers. I don't know why I like this so much, but I like that they're hidden and the sound quality is still great. This computer has such a nice screen and such great battery life. I use mine lightly, typically, which means I get days, if not weeks, out of it on a single charge. I can use it heavy, as well, and not have any issues or concerns with the battery life. This computer is super snappy! I do very light video editing on it from time to time and it handles everything smoothly and quickly. This finless design did not result in throttling for my minimal editing needs nor did my computer get warm to the touch. I also just LOVE the blue color. It is so dark and contrasts well with the illuminated keys. I also just love how different it is. Overall, this computer is just the perfect fit for my needs. It looks great, types well, is powerful, yet light, has excellent battery life, and has many quality of life improvements over previous iterations. I used to be a MacBook Pro girl, but these Air computers have become so powerful that they meet all of my day-to-day needs along with my hobbiest more intensive needs with ease. I highly recommend this.

I did not realize apple is comparable with pother popular Microsoft applications except PowerBI. I do PowerBI for work and was very excited to get my new laptop, until I realized I can even use it. I’ve also had a lot of trouble getting my documents to my laptop. Apple just seems to be least compatible out of all the technology I’ve tried.

Complete trash do not buy any new mac, they used to be great back in intel days the new M versions something failed and to reset the machine you need another mac u get a black screen of death "support.apple.com/mac/restore" am writing this review from an old intel mac lol. Mac support said they could by the mac back from me for a mac gift card for $600 dollars half the price I paid. All components are built into the mother board so you can not even just take the drive and back anything. I knew this was going to be a throw away but figured why not for security and ease of use, also has what seemed bluetooth back doors, anyway will never buy an apple product again why contribute to a company that fleeces their customers, feels like a nickel and dime operation.
