I love it so far, I’ve only had it for a week but I’ve been quite impressed. I’ve had previous versions of MacBooks that would give me the spinning wheel of death all the time. So far with this, running plenty of tabs, windows, and apps open at the same time, it functions at light speed. I mean like you click on an app and it loads up in like 0.1 seconds, it’s ridiculous, that’s the power of the M2 chip I guess. The battery life is also insane, and starting from full charge, you can most certainly get 2 full work days in without charging it once. As far as the physical product itself, I got the midnight blue version and it looks sickkk. The design feels very clean, I like how it looks like a MacBook Pro almost, but the weight is like a feather. I know some people may not like the new look of this model and prefer the traditional style of the MacBook Air that is more slanted in design on the bottom. It’s all personal preference at the end of the day but I would not let that deter you from buying a product like this but again, the design aspect is all personal preference. The last thing I’ll mention is that I never hear the fan go crazy or feel the computer overheat, it’s a really powerful product that packs quite the punch for how lightweight it is. I think the extra $200 or however much more it is compared to the M1 MacBook Air model will definitely be worth it for those who are hesitant on the price tag, the value is great! (Well for Apple lol considering some of the other overpriced products they’ve released in the past)

Before this MacBook, I had a 2015 MacBook Air, which did everything I needed it to do for eight years while I was in college and teaching virtually through COVID. This MacBook far surpasses that one it’s smaller, faster, and has a superior quality screen. This MacBook boots up very quickly. Switching between windows and working with them is very intuitive as this is something I do regularly. I primarily use this MacBook to work from home. As a teacher, I lesson plan, input grades and set up my lessons with ease. It is much more effortless and efficient to use than my desktop in my classroom. One of my favorite features is being able to use my 4th generation iPad Air as a second screen, this eliminates using a separate wireless keyboard if one wanted a physical keyboard to use with their iPad.
