I’ve lost count of how many Apple products I purchased. Pick this laptop up for my youngest as he prepares for college. As always, the design is sleek, the OS is intuitive, an apple provides necessary on board applications for a college student. This laptop is very lightweight, the screen quality is solid, the keyboard is nice, and the process speed is on point. Best Buy always has competitive price points on Apple products and I am a total tech member which gives me the benefit of AppleCare

This is a replacement for my 10 year old MacBook Air. The new MacBook Air is slimmer and is slightly more maneuverable and a bit lighter. It was extremely easy to setup and all of my information on my old MacBook Air transferred over extremely easily. Replacing an Apple product with another Apple product is fast and simple. The display is excellent and it is extremely fast, even on the satellite internet. It didn't take long and being that my last Apple laptop is actually still functioning properly I passed it down to my son. We chose Best Buy for the great price and for the Geek Squad coverage that we already have for other products.

This is a perfectly usable ultrabook for Mac users and worth a look for anyone who values a non-touch, traditional clamshell ultrabook with smooth performance and exceptionally good battery life. Even on sale, this MacBook Air is more expensive than equivalent Windows laptops, most of which will also support pen and touch. However, it excels in battery life which far exceeds typical Windows laptops. Processor speed is quite good, and it remains good on battery. The screen is very good, although it falls short of OLED or miniLED, at at 60hz it falls behind the MacBook Pros or some PC alternatives. The resolution is retina-level, the color gamut is impressive, and brighness is excellent for this class of device. No pen or touch support is available. The 1080p webcam is very good and lives inside a notch on the top of the screen. The laptop looks amazing in Midnight Blue but it is quite a fingerprint magnet. The case is very solid which is impressive for its size. Speaker quality is very good for a thin ultrabook but falls behind MacBook Pros, the older MacBook Air M1, or PC laptops like the ASUS Zenbook 14x or Lenovo Yoga 9i. Keyboard is good, and trackpad remains best in the class. Magsafe charging is nice with a color-matched braided cable. There are only 2 USB-C ports and one headphone jack. Anyone needing USB-A or HDMI or a card reader will need a dongle. Apple's touch ID fingerprint reader works flawlessly. Overall, if you need/want a thin and light MacBook this is a good choice, although the base model can struggle with heavy multitasking given it only has 8GB of ram. Even worse, the 256GB SSD is less than half as fast as the 512GB SSD version or the older M1 MacBook Air M1. For some people the older M1 MacBook Air could actually be a better value.

Amazing laptop. Super fast M2 chip. Apple silicon is really amazing. The BATTER IS OUTSTANDING. Never have I had a laptop battery last more than 6-8 hours... the macbook air M2 lasts me 3-4 days with moderate use, which is mindblowing. The laptop is super light and is the perfect size for me especially when it comes to portability. Great keyboard, great display - brightness ranges from super low for use in a pitch black room to very bright to use outside. Overall amazing.

The MacBook Air M2 is a powerhouse for developers, effortlessly handling a wide range of tasks with finesse. As someone deeply immersed in development work, I found the M2 to be a game-changer. Its blazing-fast performance, thanks to the new M2 chip, ensures that compiling code, running virtual machines, and multitasking are all smooth and seamless experiences. One of the most impressive aspects of the MacBook Air M2 is its efficiency. Despite its compact and lightweight design, it never compromises on power. Whether I'm coding, debugging, or testing applications, the M2 keeps up with my demands without breaking a sweat. The combination of the M2 chip, ample RAM, and lightning-fast SSD storage results in a machine that feels incredibly responsive, even when tackling resource-intensive tasks. Furthermore, the MacBook Air M2 excels in terms of battery life. I can spend hours immersed in coding without constantly worrying about running out of juice. This longevity is invaluable, especially during long coding sessions or when working on-the-go. The display is another standout feature. The vibrant Retina display with True Tone technology ensures that colors are accurate and visuals are crisp, making long hours of staring at code much more comfortable. In terms of ports and connectivity, the MacBook Air M2 strikes a good balance. The inclusion of Thunderbolt ports allows for fast data transfer and connection to external displays, while the addition of USB-C ensures compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. Overall, the MacBook Air M2 is a stellar choice for developers. Its exceptional performance, impressive battery life, and portable design make it the ideal companion for tackling any development task with ease and efficiency.

Honestly best laptop, I had a 2010 version and it was heavy and finally died, that saying it’s 2024 they last forever. I’m very happy with my purchase, from a single mother in school, it’s worth the purchase, it’s fast, efficient, and easy to use! Light way for traveling and carrying around and gorgeous device I must say. Very pleasant with Best Buy, I buy my TVs and devices from them only along with my iPad! Never had any troubles! Will continue to be a loyal customer !

I've been a Windows user since version 1, but after using my iPhone and iPad increasingly more (and becoming increasingly annoyed with Windows), I decided to dip my toes into MacOS for a more seamless experience. A Macbook Air seemed like a good starting point. I love it! The design is sleek and it's super lightweight. The simplicity of moving files to and from my other devices, the great app options for my art, and the overall experience of using MacOS have me sold. There's no going back! Using Photoshop with multiple layers has not been a problem yet and that was my biggest concern. For more robust tasks, I'll still use my Windows desktop until it dies on me, and then it'll be all Mac after that!

I love this computer! Several years ago I’d had it with Windows-based computers, which would break, freeze, and whose operating systems would hijack my device at the worst possible moments to “update” with no ability to postpone. After it happening one last time during a church service, I made the decision: this is my last day with this kind of computer. Tomorrow, I get a MacBook. I’ve never regretted it. Once my original 2015 MacBook Pro reached the end of its lifespan, I decided to go for this M2 Air, and let me say, it blew my old Pro out of the water! The tech advancements Apple has made in the last few years has resulted in what I believe is the pinnacle of personal computing. For almost anyone, this is more than enough machine for you! And it’s basically future-proofed for years to come. Basically, everything just works. It’s comparatively light, sleek, and really a joy to use. Couple it with and external monitor and/or an iPad and you’ve got plenty of desk space to work with. I use my MacBook Air nearly every day (when I’m not using my iPad Pro), and I would recommend it to anyone. In fact, I’m writing this review because I just recommended to my friend that his family invest in it like I did. It might be considered a bit pricey for some, but the money and headaches you’ll save over the lifetime of the device is so very worth it!

If you need more memory or drive space, look at the PRO, and get the nicer screen while yo are at it because Apple upgrades aren't cheap. However, this is a MAC for a 'light duty' use case. Yes the M2 is a nice fast chip, the screen is sharp, colorful and bright, and it is compact and easy to carry around while still feeling solidly well made. This is my FIRST MAC, which replaces an old Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. Use case- reading emails, watching Netflix outside on a summer day, chatting on Discord, paying bills... no aerospace engineering here. I'll grab my i9 gaming laptop for anything more heavy duty but it's a bit much to drag around to read emails. Right now I am sitting in bed with the MAC, watching Youtube. Yes it can do some heavy lifting, but remember that 8gigs memory only goes so far. As for hard drive space, I have a NAS for that. Anything needed long term- should not be stored on the computer anyway, so the 256gigs space is more than fine for me. I'll put an NVME into a TB compatible case if I need more but for now just using one for TimeMachine (1tb). Which brings up one of my two nitpicks. all the ports, such as they are, are on the left side right next to each other. Ok, a 35 dollar mini 'dock' fixes that - using it now sitting in bed- to provide regular USB for a standard mouse, (dock also has ethernet port and HDMI so can even connect it to a big screen TV). Other nitpick- It's off, you just plug in the AC and 'DING' it turns on. You just open the lid and DING it turns on. I don't want my computer to turn on unless I turn it on... Guess that's the 'MAC' way but no for me, OFF means OFF unless I want it ON. Overall, some nitpicks, but as long as you know before you buy, based on how it fits the use case, you won't be disappointed. Now if only the weather were nicer so I could sit under my umbrella outside today with an ice tea and chat on Discord....

I recently purchased an Apple laptop from Best Buy and it has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. The laptop itself is a marvel of technology and design. Its sleek, lightweight build makes it a pleasure to carry around, perfect for my on-the-go lifestyle. This has been a game-changer for my productivity, especially with data-heavy tasks. The battery life is impressive too, lasting all day on a single charge, which is great for those long days when I'm away from a power source. The keyboard is another highlight. It's responsive and comfortable, making typing a breeze, whether I'm writing emails or working on lengthy documents. The trackpad is equally impressive, providing precise control and a smooth experience. I also appreciate the variety of ports available, making it easy to connect to external devices and peripherals.
