What's there not to love? It's small, super lightweight, battery life is amazing and the M2 is incredibly powerful. Honestly it's a bargain. Never has there been this much power at this price point.

As a hardcore Windows user, I only bought the MacBook out of curiosity and I must say I'm surprised by how much I like it. There are flaws and issues I have with it, such as only having 8gb of RAM and having to download a separate program to disable scroll acceleration, but I've edited photos, videos, wrote scripts and all that stuff on this with no problem. Having used many laptops I still have to give the MacBook trackpad the gold medal as it is by far the best around.

Batter life is great last me a full day, performance is good and display is very good

This is a great upgrade from the 2017 MacBook Air. I love the color, don’t care for the fingerprints but a clear case fixed that issue. I also like the added weight to this laptop, makes it feel like I own a MacBook Pro. I use it for editing in FCP, it works like a charm for editing video. I give this MacBook a 9 out of 10. Processing time is very good but it could be slightly better. The battery last for days on a full charge if I’m not using it. While editing it last all day. So far this is my best purchase of the year.

The thing about Mac is, unless you just really enjoy minimal changes at a premium, you really only have to upgrade one every 7-10 years depending on whether you are willing to replace the battery or not. My last model was a 2015 i5. Lets just say, this M2 version exceeds my every expectation. Its more powerful than previous year’s Pro base models, at a price that feels acceptable, and a battery that goes on forever. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good all around notebook that will last you a decade before needing to upgrade again.

Up until the year 2020, I had been a MacBook owner. I had a 2015 MacBook Air that caught a virus. To save on costs, I opted for a Chromebook and the iPad Air. While I love my iPad, nothing beats having an actual laptop with a keyboard. I love how lightweight and sleek this device is. My Chromebook was too simple and basic for the apps I needed to run on it. I couldn't even utilize all of my streaming services on that device. I like this MacBook isn't too complicated and is capable of everything I need it to. The perfect laptop for everyday use

Purchased for light home office use at a great sale price. The 8GB of RAM doesn't bother me, as I'm not using it for any sort of creative work. I'd suggest maybe an upgrade to 16GB if you want to do music or video work. Otherwise, this is very luxurious feeling -- the display, trackpad, the sincere speed of it all :-)
