Was upgrading from a 2015 mbpro, so I knew the improvement would be substantial. On my old macbook pro, Word documents—hundreds of pages, tracked changes, comments, templates, etc.—would make the base of the machine hot. The fan would spin loudly, the thing would freeze. Not so with this macbook air. The thing is whip fast and silent. I can have a ridiculous amount of documents (tracked changes, all the bells and whistles) up at once, and this thing doesn't so much as stutter or get hot. It's incredible--and incredibly lightweight. Hard to believe an AIR is better than my PRO used to be, but there you have it.

lighter and more compact than my "10 year old" MacBook. I love it -- so fast, and the battery stays charged for days. Really pleased.

Can’t complain , screen quality is crisp, and never freezes or acts slow. Also good price for what it is. Would definitely recommend. I use it for nursing school and it gets the job done. Also I love the battery life I charge it like twice a week, It will last you several busy work days.

Absolutely flawless design and you can't beat the incorporation of the Apple ecosystem, the screen is bright and crisp and the battery life is excellent. The screen can be a little fragile, and some software applications especially in gaming may not work with the on board macOS.

The 13.6-inch display strikes a good balance between size and portability. Running on macOS, it provides a stable and user-friendly experience. While 256GB of storage is suitable for many users. Overall, it's a great choice if you're in the Apple ecosystem and value both performance and design.

I had the Mac Pro laptop prier to this one. The battery died and can no longer get one (7 yrs old). The Mac Air is nice and sleek and also I like the color (midnight blue). They’re similar. I like that it’s quick and easy to use. I like Apple products.
