Came to this laptop as a replacement for an older Macbook Pro (2018ish USB-C Touch Bar). I travel for work and wanted better battery life from the Apple silicon chips so not to be tied to a charger. From that point, this laptop is amazing. My uses are basic office tasks, remote connections, Excel…etc. I’ve done some light photo editing and some garageband sound editing with no issues. Great weight and super thin. I watched for a promotion and got this laptop for $899, so a great price on a laptop that will last me years to come.

I love this new macbook m2 air. It's light, portable, and super quick! I had a 2019 touchbar macbook pro 13" and it was so bad. I hated the touch bar as it added nothing special and was pretty heavy in my opinion. The keys are also so nice and type very nicely. I can never go back to my macbook pro after this. Get this laptop if you are looking to do simple tasks.

We bought this laptop for my mother-in-law. It is a 1000% better in every way to her prior laptop, and probably has way more power than she needs. Its very lightweight, and has 10+hrs of battery life. Keep in mind, the Apple silicon (M1, M2 chips) are SOOO much faster than the competition, that the level chips are still rocket ships. Of course, if you're doing heavy graphics, video encoding, or need to use >1 external monitor, then you'll need to step up to the MacBook Pro models.

Because I recently switched to the iPhone 15 from an Android and saw the laptop was on sale, I knew I had to get it. It is very lightweight and portable. with the M2 chip, its speed is incredible. However, I am afraid the 256 GB storage might be insufficient after a couple of years when Apple releases software updates. Overall, for a generic laptop user (streaming, using facetime feature, and iMessages), it's good enough for me. I wish it came in all black, but I got the Midnight version.

The Apple m2 is a breeze. Easy to set up and use. Super capabilities. Beautiful color. Lightweight and just the right size for easy viewing.

The M2 has speed, style, and comfort. Appreciate the size at 13.6" it is not too big but doesn't feel too tight. Missing good speakers didn't realize how much I would until I listened to a video on Youtube out loud, but if you're a Bluetooth-only listener, this won't matter to you. As far as the feel, I love the no longer sloping body, it feels more sturdy and quality. I also like the midnight color ( we will see how long that lasts with use) the case I have on it helps with the fingerprint visibility but if you like your computer naked...it will show prints. The notch I still do not understand a camera hole should be fine, but there are apps to hide or incorporate which make it fairly painless. My favorite thing about this laptop is the sleek design and speed of the M2 but I admittedly have loved the Magsafe and was happy to see its return ( I would have preferred the cord not look like Frankenstein merged a USB-C and Magsafe but it still opens a USB-C slot on the computer so its functional. Frankly, I have been displeased with the design lack in the last several MacbookAirs so I was happy when this one came out and was worth the upgrade for me. I'm a student so I need something fast and reliable, this will work for what I need.

Previously owned a Macbook Pro 13" Touchbar (1st gen) from 2016 that eventually died. Replaced it with this current Gen Macbook Air with the M2 chip. The performance of this M2 chip is just as good, if not better than my previous Macbook. No regrets not getting another Macbook Pro since we rarely use heavy programs (photoshop, SketchIt AutoCad, etc) at home. If I need to,, I have my work laptop to use instead. The wife loves the new Midnight color which is a dark blue-ish color that looks almost black.

I have always used Windows based computers. I have also mostly been an iPhone user for at least 10 years. I finally gave the Macbook Airba chance and im not disappointed. Im an average consumer and i use it for photos, web browsing and some of the built in apps/programs. Its very lightweight and incredibly fast. I spent about an hour watching YouTube to familiarize myself with how to use it and its really easy to pickup. I was considering an Ipad pro upgrade with a keyboard but decided on the air instead. Its much better imo for all i would have used the ipad for and has a lot more functionality.

This is the second MacBook Air. Compared to the one that I had for 5 years, this one is lighter, faster, better screen quality, and smaller but has a bigger screen.

I recently purchased the Macbook Air M2, and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. The laptop is incredibly lightweight and thin, so it's perfect for taking with me on the go. After having used this MacBook for seven months, I can confidently say that it’s replaced my Surface, of which I’d also owned for seven months at the time of this purchase. As a very busy college student with many handwritten assignments, my first Apple product was an iPad just two months earlier, which prompted me to get a MacBook, then eventually an iPhone. Being able to seamlessly transfer homework assignments from every device has made my life as a college student far more streamlined and less stressful. I have less issues with updates creating a nearly unusable product, like I did with my Surface. Not having to download additional software to read and use PDF files was a major factor in this, as well, as a lot of my textbooks are digital. Often times I will need to have a minimum of four or five research articles open at a time as downloaded pdf’s, along with a textbook in an additional software, specifically Amazon’s Kindle. I noticed a significant difference in performance between the surface and the MacBook, being that the initial startup of opening these documents and the program was instantaneous, rather than sluggish. Microsoft Office products work excellently, as well. Battery life is stellar, the speed and performance is fantastic, and the screen display is exceptional. Overall, I can say that I am absolutely pleased with this MacBook and can now understand the hype surrounding Apple products, coming from a decade long user of strictly using Android and Microsoft.
