If you plan to surf the web, use some programs that are not resource-intensive (e.g., Excel or Word), or engage in some light gaming, that is a great laptop. If you want to do a lot of multi-tasking or engage in more resource-intensive activities, I recommend 16GB of memory.

Anticipation . . .

My old Mac has a few issues but it's still working. I wanted a new one for the newer features and to eliminate the problems I started having with my old one. I am waiting for help from my grand sons to set up my new one. Senior citizen issues right here so they are my go to for basic understanding of set up and to fix small problems that are usually user based. Haha!
