So I needed a new school laptop because I knew I needed one to finish high school with since the school issued one was starting to get slow after 4 years. So I was looking for laptops online and watching the reviews. The laptop that I kept getting recommended for school was a MacBook. A lot of people told me that the software was going to be a change I wouldn't be able to get used to as opposed to windows. I have used windows for as long as I can remember so I took the risk. That risk ended up being one of my favorite decisions. For starters, I thought that the reviews were over-exaggerating the battery life and I can personally vouch that the battery life is beyond amazing. I use my MacBook everyday for about 5 periods a day (about 3 hours at school) and the battery barely goes down. On top of that I come home and I like to use it to watch YouTube and do homework and watch Netflix and the battery life prevails. I can go on average 2-4 days worth of usage without having to charge it. My next favorite thing about it is the screen. The screen display is so fluid and truly beautiful. The colors are very vibrant and among the best screen I have seen on a device. If that wasn't reason enough it works so good with my iPhone and my AirPods. My AirPods can seamlessly connect from my MacBook to my iPhone and vice versa. The keyboard is great it feels nice I lowkey prefer it over the past windows laptops I have had. As of now I've been using it for 3 months now and I haven't had a single issue with heating. I normally use it on a table or desk but I do often use my Mac on my lap and I haven't once felt a temperature change even when I have like 6 or 7 tabs open simultaneously. The one and only downside would be that gaming isn't meant for the Mac so if you were to get this laptop just now that gaming isn't really ideal. But besides that it's the best laptop I have used and it is super efficient especially for school. And not just for school but entertainment as well like YouTube, Netflix, and etc. Take it from me as a student myself.

I was told to by apple care for 3 years i dont know y .i will review after 3 years hope this works till then any laptop over $1500 should be good for 3 yrs .

Screen randomly stopped working about 5 months in.

Apple hass made great strides in their ecosystem. This is the perfect most reliable laptop I have ever purchased. The size, speed and battery life are all very important to me. This MacBook Air delivers on all my needs.

Would be better with usb c more than two ports. FaceTime camera is TRASH

Just Google search for "Apple lawsuit". You won't want to buy one. As an Apple victum, I'll never trust again.

MacBook 13 with M2 has been a great upgrade from our previous MacBook. The battery life and speed of the processor has been a game changer. I can work all day on a charge without plugging the power supply. Highly recommend!!! Run don't walk to get one you will not be disappointed.

Geek squad has been terrible and managed to mess up a lot instead of helping.

I have been a MacBook Pro user for a very long time and have been so happy with them. I decided on purchasing the MacBook Air after my Pro had some keyboard issues. I have to say I am completely blown away how much I love how it feels and works for me. The battery life is amazing, and how thin and light it is built is for me another huge plus.

Even though it's made to be more "entry level", this is still a very powerful and capable machine. I've done light Photoshop and video editing concurrently with other tasks. This handles it no problem.
