Grabbed this on a sale after trying out a base model M4. Noticed the extra ram really gives this a kick. What's surprising is the screen quality -- it is oddly more crisp and clear than the M4 even though they are supposed to be the same exact screen resolution/brightness. It's still 60 hertz, but I don't actually notice that as much even though I have an M1 Pro with a great screen that is obviously better. Only a couple complaints with the M3 v. M4 -- the keyboard is more glossy, shows fingerprints, and has a "slippery" feel--more so than the M4. Prefer the M4 keyboard but like the M3 screen better. Apple apparently uses different suppliers for their screens so maybe they changed them up to reach the lower price point on the M4s. Either way, if deciding between M3/M4 I say go for what fits your storage needs/budget. I'd rather have the more ram and better screen than the other M4 pluses, especially with not much difference in noticeable performance. It's a MacBook Air at the end of the day--you won't be using this for heavy video editing even if it can handle some of it.

Very pleased with the performance! M3 chip is super fast. Plenty of memory and storage for my home use. Screen has beautiful resolution. Fast charging and fantastic battery life.

It’s so light and compact which makes it easy to travel with. Love how fast it is which is a huge level up from my last MacBook. Nothing negative to say about it as of yet.

I had a 7 year old MacBook Pro and it was showing its age for sure. I purchase this MacBook Air in Starlight on sale and it is a fabulous upgrade from my older MacBook Pro. The keyboard looks the same but feels better and types quieter. This machine is so much faster and I am really enjoying it. It's super light and portable and meets all of my needs. I'm glad I made the investment. My old MacBook Pro would no longer backup wirelessly so I backed up to an external hard drive and used that to set up the new machine and it worked flawlessly. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great battery life, light weight, great screen quality. Overall great product for everyday all day use.

So far its great. I can DJ, do graphic design work, download books, and of course general work and internet surfing stuff. Sleek, small design is really light and easy to carry. I love that there's a headphone jack on the side, and the sound and display are great. Overall I am really pleased with this macbook, and compared to the old Air model I had, this one is superior. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I love it.

I’ve been using the MacBook Air M3 with 512GB, and I’m honestly impressed. The laptop feels incredibly fast — apps open instantly, and multitasking is smooth even with many tabs and programs running. The M3 chip makes everything feel effortless. The design is exactly what I expected from Apple: thin, lightweight, and premium. It’s super easy to carry around for work and school, and the battery life is amazing. I can get through a full day without needing the charger, sometimes even longer. The screen is bright and sharp, and the keyboard is great to type on. I also appreciate that the 512GB storage is noticeably quicker and gives me plenty of space for my files, photos, and apps. It’s not a gaming machine, but for everyday use, studying, photo editing, and even some video editing, it performs perfectly. The speakers and webcam are better than I expected for such a slim laptop. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It feels reliable, powerful, and worth the price. Definitely recommended if you want something fast, lightweight, and long-lasting.

Great laptop that does exactly what you need it to do, whether it be creation, school, or regular browsing it does the job perfectly. Battery life is all dayS (literally lasting 2-3 days and I use this laptop very frequently) and is overall a great laptop with a wonderful 24 gigs of ram for all your needs.

Never had a MacBook before always been a windows user. But this Macbook is a revelation so easy to switch from phone to laptop. Will be a Macbook user from now on

Great improvement over i5 version ! We bought the 24G / 520G models and they zip through Photoshop, Lightroom, and Topaz AI with the M3 chip. Keys seem different to the touch somehow and the larger touch pad is very welcomed. The Air version is sturdy and lighter compared to the heavier Pro version. All together, an excellent upgrade to earlier versions.

Bought a 13 inch MacBook Air with M3 chip, 24GB RAM, and 512 SSD over the Black Friday weekend. It is a great laptop and I am extremely happy with the purchase. It is little costly without a sale. But is it really worth it. It runs quiet and very fast, light weight too. I definitely recommend this to anyone who can afford it.

Had a 10-year told MacBook pro that was showing age. Decided to go with this model as it had similar specs with storage size, and even more RAM. Extremely happy with this computer. It is accomplishing every reason why we needed a new one. Faster, better screen, can handle multi-tasking and battery life has been amazing so far. Super happy with our choice.

Great MacBook with very high speed, and light weight

I spent four frustrating hours at the Apple Store, ready to buy my dream laptop—only to have my Apple Card application denied at checkout. Just as I was about to give up, a Best Buy notification popped up on my phone: the *exact* model I wanted, with the same specs, was not only in stock but also **$200 cheaper**. Talk about perfect timing. Best purchase I’ve ever made!

I purchased this laptop as a great open-box deal. However, it's the first time I've seen an open box Good laptop in such dirty condition. I was at the outlet center so we opened the box and the gentleman helping me cleaned if off. It looked great after that. Also as it turns out someone had tried to wipe the machine and messed up the SSD drive settings. Fortunately I was able to format the SDD and reload the machine. And it has most of its warranty left and technically once cleaned up was in excellent condition. So I give this a 5 because the Best Buy Outlet team was helpful and also because the machine really was in Good condition once we got rid of the grime from the laptop and reloaded it. No hardware issues and rest of 12 month warranty intact.

The MacBook Air is sleek and lightweight. I had an M1 MacBook Air and really like the upgrade of the M3 processor. The functionality is smooth and seamless.
