Buyers beware! I strongly suggest anyone against considering Best Buy trade-in program. Bestbuy does not stand behind their own provided shipping methods and deny that the shipped trade-in device was delivered, contrary to the best buy’s own website, and shipper provided information. I have been given the run around of my life to no avail and the trade in value, trade in team is unresponsive, customer support agents are useless or helpless against BestBuy’s internal teams, and customers have no recourse against loss of traded device. I’ve lost all faith in the process and recommend anyone and everyone to stay away from the trade-in program at all costs.

didn't like display. I upgraded to 14 inch macbook pro for 250 dollar more.

Little too pricey, but not much different from the older model i had with the M1 chip.

A very good laptop but is very easy to dirty without a case.

All was well until we attempted to get a replace (even swap) for this Apple MacBook. Even though the PC was never used (would not connect to Wifi at all), Best Buy refused to replace it and said they would look at it for $100 (a brand new PC??) Well so much for buying thing outside of Amazon if this is the service and support you get from buying "local retail". Good Buy BB, hello Amazon...easy enough!!!

Light sleek and fast but if you want to use apps like X(twitter) or Robinhood among others you need to pass on Apple!

Was used to Samsung and gambled on this for a quick cheap replacement. Had to repack and return it. Picture quality seemed oddly off and image movement on the TV was blurry in my opinion. Mounting bracket location was also different than Samsung so while likely have move your wall bracket if planning to keep your current mount. That was also problematic for me. The price is great, TV not so much.

Horrible. Cpu died, sent back to apple and in transit screen cracked so apple declares and they will not repair under $600. I still am paying on computer. It was not cravked when tech was looking at computer trying to trouble shoot w me. I am so upset. No daughter has no computer for college 1st year and I am broke. Never will buy an apple device again. Not Best Buy fault at all.

Slow processing and no price match in 3rd month after purchase

I ordered the MacBook Air to be delivered on a Friday. FedEx came by at 12noon when I was at work so they left and rescheduled delivery. This was because I needed to be present to sign for it (Ok, that makes sense for an expensive item). It showed rescheduled for Saturday at any time. I couldn’t stay home all day so I paid $5 to choose a 5-8pm delivery window. It never showed up. It’s now Sunday at 6am and I was told it’d be here by 8pm. I have to stay home all day waiting for it because it requires my signature. It’s 2024 and Best Buy/Fedex can’t give a 2 or 4 hr delivery window to their customers? I wish I knew this when I ordered that I’d need to be a prisoner of my home for 3 days in order to get the computer. I thought I was making it convenient for myself having it shipped but would have been better off going to the store. I’ve wasted an hour on the phone and texting with FedEx and Best Buy to find out when it’ll be here and “by 8pm” is the best they can tell me.

First, my issue is not with the Apple MacBook it’s with Best Buy. I will never buy anything from them again. Placed an order well before Christmas and it was to be delivered on 12/24. FedEx label was created but it never shipped. Three to four live chats and the issued was it needed to be elevated. For what, it didn’t ship easy route just ship one. Long story short I didn’t receive it until January 4th. Should have ordered directly from Apple! I’ve purchased many items from BestBuy in the past (TV’s, large appliances, etc.). They lost a long time customer.

Best Buy is not the right place to buy a Mac. Best Buy failed to deliver the computer on the date promised. Worse still, they lost the computer during the shipping process. Eventually, Best Buy canceled the order without my input - I still needed the computer! I was left without a working laptop for two weeks. I spent five consecutive days on the phone with the Best Buy help desk; they always promised to call back with answers and never did. I am unlikely to ever shop at Best Buy again, since they made no effort to correct the problem that was entirely their fault. 0/5 - go somewhere else.

I am an international student and recently visited Best Buy to purchase a MacBook. My friend, who also bought a MacBook from the Dayton location, received a $200 student discount by showing her student ID. However, when I went to the same store with my valid student ID, I was not offered the same discount. I am disappointed with the inconsistency in applying the student discount policy and would appreciate clarification on this issue.

Sent a trade in to Best Buy for a $500 credit they said they would give me for a New MacBook Air. It's been nearly a month. They will not give me the $500, nor will they return the trade in (another MacBook) to me. Scammers. Now I have to go to court! Benn hung up on 3 times, and chat people cut off our chat when they can't give me answers!

Do not buy and do not buy from Best Buy. This MacBook Air notoriously for having a cheap keyboard with loose keys. I purchased three of them and all had this issue. Best Buy shipped these to me, but will not allow me to ship them back - they require that you return in-store. Even if you had no transportation and have a physical handicap - Best Buy doesn’t care.

It's a Mac... You're better off with a PC with Windows or Linux installed. Don't buy it. Apple computers are over priced with poor quality standards. They look pretty but beyond that, are not functional like a normal computer.

The review is for Best Buy experience rather than the MacBook Air as it never reached me. Ordered for delivery on Saturday, but was then randomly changed to Tuesday, and then further delayed to Wednesday! Had ordered so a friend could bring it from US to UK, but the very poor service meant it wasn’t delivered on time. Tried contacting customer service but gave up after a long wait to be connected to an agent.

I recenlty got my nee laptop and the screen wont turn on. This is brand new out of the box.
