For basic computer needs the air is perfect. I have been a Mac user for 15 years, and would never go back. They are fast; even with a million tabs and programs running simultaneosly with great built in virus protection. They are incredibly intuitive for anyone who has ever owned an iphone, and easy to adapt to for non apple users. The design is sleek and lightweight making it very travel friendly. Like all prior macs, I expect this product to last me at least 8 years, making the price quite reasonable.

Upgraded from a 2019 MacBook Pro. Running Mac since G5’s for graphic design. Hands down this M3 version just performs. I’m running adobe illustrator, photoshop, multiple open tabs, square space, and downloading files for 12+ hours a day for the last 10 days. Not a single glitch or rainbow ball of death. MacBook Air M3 runs flawlessly so far. No experience with video editing, can’t vouch for that space. The aesthetics are beautiful, upgrades for the operating system are a plus and reminds me why I love Apple. Bought the silver version over the darker model because of reviews regarding finger prints. Battery life states 18 hours…haven’t actually timed, it feels long enough for hours of design work…I can charge once a day and get about 9-14 hours of design time. Bought the 256g and saved some cash. 12 months financing was a no brainer. Old wireless Apple mouse worked fine with this newer model. I thought I’d be losing out on something by not having a Macbook Pro. Not the case. If you’re on the fence, take the leap. I’d buy this over and over again. I’m truly impressed and pumped on this purchase. Re-kindled my love for design and my workflow has improved. Bestbuy was quick and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes. Best laptop you can buy, yes I know there are more powerful ones or larger ones but this one is perfect. Battery last for so long, I dont ever need to plug in daily. You just cant beat the build quality and the snappiness of this device. No need for the pro if you need the extra power.

My first MacBook, I always wanted one but it was so expensive. But after buying a cheaper hp to try to save money and a Samsung tablet both were so slow. Finally got tired of it and decided to buy a MacBook, was nervous cause I didn’t want to waste more money for it to also be bad. But I was so surprised how smooth and faster it was and no lag. Being a lifetime Windows user, this MacBook is perfection. There is quite a learning curve, but it is relatively easy to adjust to Apple's Mac interface with all the YouTube videos out there walking you through the basics. The lightweight and slim profile does not take away from the quality, this thing is loaded with power and performance, and feels premium when handling. Comparing this with other ultraportables, the MacBook Air feels more sturdy, hefty, and quality. Being aluminum, it feels so much better made and feels better in the hands compared to plastic feeling alternatives. The screen is beautiful and bright, apps and browsers pull up super fast, and the whole ecosystem just feels suited for speed and ease. The keyboard is flawless, and if you love music as much as me, having dedicated keys for music controls built into the keyboard, it is super convenient. The audio quality is superb; the 4 built in speakers and tweeters bring music to life with clarity unlike any laptop I’ve ever used. Battery life for a guy like me that casually browses the web, listens to music/watches videos, is beyond insane. I can literally go over a week on a single charge before even getting down to where I feel it needs to charge, and that would be between 10-20%, which will still give you hours of life. Yes it is an expensive laptop. Yes it does not have all of the bells and whistles of others, but honestly, it is just a very well built machine that is made of quality, is easy to use, and packed with what you actually want and need, not loaded with gimmicks. If this is the standard of all of Apple’s MacBooks, then I will be a lifetime customer. Get one, you will not be disappointed.

Bought it open box to edit my videos for content and honestly the only thing I can complain about is the battery life wish it was a little bit longer but for as small as this laptop, is it gets the job done pretty powerful when you consider it’s not a pro version But still able to download and edit content at a pretty good rate
