The Apple MacBook Air 15" is hailed for its blend of a larger screen and slim design, being the world's thinnest 15-inch laptop at 11.5mm. The use of the M2 chip enhances performance while the 16GB memory and 512GB SSD offer ample storage and smooth multitasking. The 100% aluminum body not only adds to its sleek appearance but also makes it lightweight. Its enhanced features, like a better 1080p webcam and MagSafe charging port, alongside a modern, sleeker design, make it a superior choice for everyday use, merging both aesthetics and performance seamlessly.

Love the bigger screen, thin/light profile, and silent operation. I use it for software development and it performs wonderfully. And of course the bigger screen is great for browsing and content consumption. I do miss the keyboard taper of the older Airs where it got thinner but it’s still thin. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased the new Apple MacBook Air in the stunning Blue color, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The color is not only visually appealing but also adds a touch of elegance to the device.
The build quality is exceptional, as expected from Apple products. The MacBook Air feels solid and well-crafted, and it's incredibly lightweight and portable. The slim design makes it easy to carry around, whether for work or leisure.
In terms of performance, it's a powerhouse. The speed and responsiveness of this laptop are impressive. It handles multitasking effortlessly, and I've had no issues running resource-intensive applications or even some light gaming.
The display is vibrant and sharp, making it a pleasure to watch movies or work on creative projects. The battery life is also outstanding, easily lasting me through a full day of use without needing to constantly search for an outlet.
The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the trackpad is precise and responsive. The overall user experience is seamless and enjoyable.
In summary, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The Apple MacBook Air in Blue has not only met but exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new laptop."

I’ve been using the 2023 MacBook Air 15" with the M2 chip for a little over a year now, and I absolutely love it. The bigger screen makes a huge difference for working, watching videos, and just general multitasking. It’s super fast, super quiet, and the battery easily lasts me all day. I was worried it might be too big to carry around, but it’s still really light and slim. Everything feels premium—from the display to the keyboard. I mainly use it for work, email, and some light photo editing, and it handles it all effortlessly. Totally worth the upgrade.

Initial Switch to Mac:
As a long-time Windows user and a web developer with over a decade of experience, I decided to venture into new territory by trying out a Mac. The constant struggle with Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and PowerShell nudged me towards this change.
First Impressions - Performance and Battery Life:
I'm thoroughly impressed with the Mac. The M2 chip delivers outstanding performance, and the disk speed, clocking in at over 3000MB/s, is nothing short of phenomenal. Additionally, the battery life can easily get me through an entire day, and sometimes two of constant use, including Zoom calls.
Ease of Use - Touchpad and Gestures:
Adapting to the touchpad and its gestures was surprisingly smooth. However, acclimating to the COMMAND key, after a lifetime of reliance on the CTRL key, presents a significant learning curve and remains my primary challenge.
Developer Experience - Terminal and Compatibility:
From a developer's standpoint, the Terminal on Mac vastly outshines the Windows equivalent. It's gratifying to note that everything I could do on Windows is feasible on Mac, often with enhanced efficiency.
Software Installation and File Management:
The process of installing apps outside the App Store, involving dragging and dropping into a pop-up window followed by unmounting a virtual drive, is somewhat unconventional. Also, the 'Finder' app hasn't quite lived up to my expectations, and I'm on the lookout for a more efficient file manager.
Utilizing Stage Manager:
Embracing the latest MacOS feature, Stage Manager, has revolutionized my workflow. Its ability to easily group and switch between windows or groups is a substantial efficiency booster.
Adaptation and Display Quality:
While the transition to using the COMMAND key is still underway, it remains the primary source of discomfort in my switch. On a brighter note, the display quality is exceptionally clear, and the option to adjust brightness further extends the already impressive battery life.
Verdict:
Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone who does any amount of development and can justify $1600+ for a laptop.

This MacBook Air fills all my computer needs. I am now fully in the Apple ecosystem and it’s great. Super productive now. This laptop is fast, sleek and light. Battery last all day without charging even with heavy workloads(cad designing) and the fact that this laptop never gets hot is really really nice no need to worry about burning my legs from the cpu getting so hot

Macs are the simplest computers to own and use as long as you can get past the Apple premium tax. Highly recommend the 15in over the 13in model. Everything feels less crammed. If you plan on keeping your Mac for more than 2 years, get 16GB of ram and 512GB SSD. Apple employees will try to push you to the 8GB models but stay strong on 16GB. Best Buy employees did not try to change my mind which is a plus. Battery life is fantastic.

This is probably the best laptop I've owned so far. Fan-less cooling system makes it very quiet. I do music production as well as other everyday tasks, and the M2 is powerful enough to handle all music production tasks, while staying completely silent. I haven't seen it lose performance while on battery. Battery lasts a long time. 15" screen is a welcome size-up and it looks gorgeous. MacOS is as stable as it has always been for me. Good job on this one, Apple.

This computer was purchased to replace one of my aging Macs - specifically one that is 12 years old. Needless to say, the beautiful screen and six-speaker sound, coupled with the performance of the M2 processor and 16GB RAM, blow away all of my other computers. As a professional photographer and writer, and depend up on the performance of my Macs, and this Macbook Air is no disappointment.

I finally replaced my 2014 MacbookAir which was finally starting to go. I love my new MacbookAir. I was hesitant about going to the 15", as my previous Air was an 11", but had read reviews that the 16GB memory and the 10 core GPU, were worth the extra money. I have to say I'm delighted with this computer. It's lightning fast and even though it's significantly larger than my last MacbookAir, the weight is almost identical. Love it!

I’ve been a Mac user for decades, especially a MacBook Air one — and this (just like all their ads for new products say) is the best one yet. Bigger screen, faster processor, and very light. It’s the best Mac for almost all people. Really like the midnight color, too. You can’t go wrong with the M2 15”. Plus, Best Buy offered a promo price cut of around 15% than at an Apple Store.

Can't believe the difference vs the 8gb base model

I needed something light with a half decent size screen to do some music production on the go, I do some Orchestra stuff pretty often and the Kontakt libraries use a ton of ram. I tried the 8gb base model first as it was on sale, and it was just a miserable experience, even purging the samples. Slower hard drive, ran out of ram before I could even get something half decent started. Took it back and traded for this one, it's a night and day difference to me. Now I'm able to do a LOT more with the 16gb of ram.

Honestly can’t believe what I was missing out on this whole time. I have been an Apple fan my whole life, Apple airpods, iPads, iPhones, you name it, but I never made the full switch to ditch my windows laptops and get a Mac. But now I understand the hype. The M2 chip makes this machine jaw-droppingly quick partnered especially with this certain spec. Battery life is amazing, doesn’t overheat easily, you could be split screen facetiming and surfing the web for hours on end or whatever and it just goes. Idk I might be starstruck for it being my first Mac haha but this is one heck of a machine. Display is the best that apple offers currently and there is touch id which is always an added benefit! Simply amazing, highly recommend if this is up your alley.

I purchased the MacBook Air 15" for my small business. I can honestly say it's the best computer I have ever purchased! It is lightening fast has a beautiful screen. The battery life is excellent. I only charge it once every two or three days, and that is with a few hours use each day.
I won't ever go back to a traditional PC. I Highly recommend this MacBook.

This new macbook air is just beautiful, very sleek, great looking laptop and specially in Midnight color which I feel is the best of the lot. M2 chip performance along with 16GB RAM is top notch and I am so satisfied with it that I don’t think I will ever go back to pro for my use cases. Lastly, battery life is also really good as always on Air but even better.

Solid Compared to My 2019 MacBook Pro

I'm upgrading from the 2019 MacBook Pro 8GB RAM 128GB storage.
This isn't much faster for basic tasks and when compared to my Pro, it's slower at starting up basic tasks like opening up work or outlook.
I feel comfortable knowing i have 16gb of ram because my Pro would start to slow down when I had a few apps running. This also doesn't heat up like my Pro did. I haven't been putting heavy usage on this so maybe it will heat up when I start running more apps at once.
The speakers also sound a bit weird compared to my Pro. Try it out before you buy it.
The keyboard is amazing compared to the Pro. The butterfly keyboard was a disaster and this feels much more comfortable.
The battery life is also 10x better than the Pro.
