A bit too small

Get a USB hub with it!

I only purchased the updated M2 model laptop simply due to my previous (3yr old) MacBook deciding to display that of a “black screen.” So I preferred to get the updated version for myself and my other repaired for my daughter.

If you are hooked on OSX, sure.

If you use Ubuntu or Windows, you have a lot more options, and there are more powerful, better built machines at this price point. But if you're committed to OSX, the 13" MacBook Pro is a decent machine.
