I guess it functions as it is supposed to if you know how to use that Apple platform, no issues there. What bothers me the most is for the price, it does not come with a touch screen and you have to fork out extra money to buy an Apple keyboard and mouse, which I refuse. Bought an adapter which dangles on the laptop, not ideal but it works. The platform is very user-unfriendly and complicated. Things that take 1 click on a Windows computer take complicated keyboard stroke combinations. Had to constantly search on Google how to do simple things and got to the point where I just don't use it anymore. The keyboard on the laptop is akward, hard to type and missing keys that are standard on Windows. For the price I could have gotten a nice Windows laptop with touchscreen and all the bells and whistles. I stopped using it and am ready to get rid of it and buy another Windows computer. User unfriendly and complicated. Will never buy another Apple laptop again.
