I have always used windows computers and I finally decided to give Apple a try because most of my friends who have MacBooks are still VERY happy with them even after they are 5+ years old. It is perfect for school because the battery lasts me for about 12 hours of use while doing school work. The OS is also very efficient when having to use multiple applications and switching between different screens. I am very happy with my purchase!

The speed of Mac Book Pro 2017 is wonderful! One drawback is the Max OS Sierra that allows "read only" on my two existing external hard drives. I had to download a program, which will cost me, after a trial period, to allow me to work on my files on the hard drives. Yes, I can download them to the computer, work on them, then save them back to the external hard drive, but is much faster, if am able to work on files directly on external hard drives.

I love the MacBook Pro. It is a computer I can take anywhere, and is so easy to use. I can connect with my phone and iMac easily and keep documents in the cloud to pull up anywhere I go.

This is my second MacBook Pro. My 15 inch model reached the age where software updates were reaching the limits of its outdated hardware. It had become sluggish and on occasion the hard drive acted oddly. The authorized Apple Service shop said that although they could replace the hard drive, they recommended I just replace the laptop. So I went with this 13 inch model. It has worked gr at for several months now. I am very pleased.
