Purchased for my daughter who is in her first year of college. She really wanted a Mac for school and said it is working as expected. Price was good as we used student deals and it was on clearance due to the fact it was last years model.

I'm so in love with my new computer. It works fast and efficiently. The screen is magnificent and the sound quality makes me feel like I'm in my own personal movie theater. I'm so glad I finally bought a new computer and I'm even more glad I chose to get this one.

I was using windows at office and home. I needed another laptop for my personal use and at the same Time I was doing some programming certification for that I need to have Apple MacBook. I cannot be done in windows. so I bought my Mac book pro. It took little bit of time to get adjusted since I grew up using windows but it was not that hard. Some of the challenges was like how to write or same something in your external hard drive for that I have to download a tool or application. how to uninstall an application. if page has multiple scrolling then how to do that. But now I have learnt that and it is so easy and comfortable I feel like I get rid of all the windows laptop. Ofcourse it is rich in feel and use. But at the same some you have other drawback as well. like you have to have Mac OS application only and if you have already purchased some only for windows then they are waste now.

I like it mac book I recommend to have it for every one. It is fast and effective to use

I had my old macbook pro of 7 years break on me. It was time for a new one and I love it

I am totally impressed! I bought it for my 15 year old son and I make excuses to use it!

So far we really love this laptop. That being said it is kinda frustrating and hard to learn some of the shortcuts and other things that are not what we are used to on our older laptops. Needing adapters for other cords and USB ports are frustrating as well.

Bought this for my college freshman who says that it is just what was needed for college!

The laptop is very lightweight. The only thing I'm still getting used to is the type c ports, it's inconvenient.

Love my pro! Originally got MacBook but it was too light weight. I returned and got pro.

Finally I got the awaited macbook pro. No need to review much of the macbook pro as is always professional and decent to use and light weight too to carry. And, the retina display gives it’s best.

This Mac book pro is very smooth. It feels sturdy not flimsy. I would have given this a five star if it wasn't for getting an adapter. You need an adapter for a USB. This computer only has two USB type C and I believe one port for headphones or something like that. Everything else, USB, HDMI, micro SD...you need an adapter. Best buy does sell an adapter with ports that you may need. Apple just wants you to spend more money. But overall, the computer is great. I would recommend it.

The reason I was looking for the MacBook was due to its high battery capacity compared to others. I'm a heavy writer and also a video editor, so I think MacBook Pro is a great choice for me. My only concern is the flexgate; hope I don't get this.

We bought this as a high school graduation present for our older son. He's now used it through 2.5 years of college, including the last 9 months in virtual instruction, and his MacBook has been indispensable.

I recently upgraded to this Mac from a Mac air. The display on this computer is far better than any computer I have used in the past. the speed of this computer is fantastic. I highly recommend this computer to anyone looking for a Mac.

this is a whole new experience. The Mac Book is so light and thin! My first impression was intimidating but after help from the Apple store it all fell into place. Photo editing is a whole new experience. Everyday I learn something new. Great product!

We were looking for a new laptop for my daughter to take to college and we found a beautiful MacBook Pro and it opened boxes section of the store. The sales person was extremely helpful and my daughter is so excited! Great value, great service, great product!

This is although 2017 version of MBP but I am satisfied with the new laptop. Brilliant retina display. Light and compact. The keyboard is different from the previous (2011) model but works fine. Hopefully it won't break as some reviewers said.
