Have been using Windows machines until now, So wanted to try out Mac, The new 2016 macbook pro is simply awesome, great design light weight and gorgeous looks. Performs great. I would definitely recommend this on any day any time :)

I have a top of the line Dell laptop, an okay Toshiba laptop, several tablets and now my macbook pro. The macbook is now the only thing I reach for. It is so quick, so intuitive and easy to use and find things I can use it for personal, business, and school (masters) with no issues or worries.

This is my 3rd Macbook Purchase since 2008--and other than a minor design preference, I'm impressed with the recent engineering. First, my single con: Touchpad. Although I like the size increase, I've grown accustomed to using the gestures and touch features in all places of the pad--however, on the latest build, the "select" feature only is enabled on the lower 1/3 or so of the touchpad. Not a big deal--but takes some adjusting to. Now, the Pros: Keyboard quality--much higher feeling than previous. Body design--lighter weight than my previous aluminum beast, but still feels durable--especially relative to competitors in this price point (Lenovo, for instance). Noise: this thing is dead silent. Screen: Gorgeous--need I say more? Performance: Lightning fast, even while multitasking with several programs. Overall, this is a great machine that I'm confident will last 3-5 years like my previous models (I still use the previous models--just for simpler needs (i.e. web surfing, Pandora, Powerpoint, etc).

This computer is amazing. It's the perfect size, lightweight, sleek, and most importantly it works GREAT! It's lightning fast. It works wonderfully at editing photos quickly. This is my first mac purchase after owning PC's my whole life. I don't think I'll ever go back to a PC again.

This is my first MacBook Pro laptop. I have always bought Sony, Toshiba, HP, and other windows laptop. I don't trash my laptops but for some reason all my windows laptops do not last long and always get viruses. (Only exception is my Toshiba lasted about Five years and it's on it's last leg). I decided to buy my first Apple Laptop because of the sale price and based on other owners of Apple Laptops. I really like the build quality, screen, track pad, speakers, and I do not mind the keyboard. I am use to typing on an IPad and this keyboard is better than typing on a screen. The USB C is fine for me at least because I don't use too many external devices. I bought an USB to C adapter only so I could use my old laser printer with the laptop. I bought this laptop when Best Buy had a -225 off the regular price for the base model MacBook Pro Space Gray. It's light, thin ( I actually want a smaller laptop) and it easy to carry around in my bag. It's not a gaming laptop and I don't play games online.

Fast, intuitive easy once I had all my other Apple stuff synchronised right. The display is intense, no waiting for videos and good sound too. Plan to use it for Gropro movies and work presentations. I love the slim shape and light weight. Had it about a month now and no complaints....

This computer is so light weight. The screen is crystal clear with the Retina display. My one and only complaint is that there is no USB port any where at all on the computer! I've had to purchase an adapter peice now that I've figured that out. This computer is capable of my 6 windows open at once, downloading my online class material and watching videos all at the same time. Not to mention the benefits when it's paired with my iPhone. Great purchase.

At some point in the future the tablet and laptop will merge and become one product. This MacBook Pro is almost there already. Light weight,like a feather, cool running, even without a fan, less noise, vivid, very vivid, colors. I cut the cable last year. I stream through Amazon and Apple TV. I find myself watching my stream on my laptop now the colors are better than my TV. (I can also listen on my bluetooth headphones while my wife sits beside me and never hears a thing.) Back to the computing the MacBook is lightening fast and powerful. Out of the box ready for my personal and business use; I'm a real estate broker and now everything in real estate is web based. This light weight computer makes it easy to pull from my briefcase and jump online to do my work. I am also taking classes and using the MacBook for my virtual classes is a perfect partner. One lightweight device that solves everything for me school, work, and entertainment, bravo!

while familiar with Mac computer this has been the most time I have spent on one. So far this have been a great experience. The only issue I ran into is using the touch pad, first I had to learn how to use this thing, once I do everything works fine. Copying and pasting was a challenge, user error of course. Love how light weight this computer is. My only real complain is that I had to spend so much money on accessories, external DVD player, USB converter etc. luckly I was able to purchase these at a discounted price during the holiday sale, but still costly. The charger for the laptop is a bit heavy but doesn't affect me porting this laptop with me. Most of the time its fully charged when I leave the house so usually don't remember to bring the charger with me anyway. love love love hope to not replace this laptop in 5years like my PC. Purchase this through open box certified by Geek Squad and everything works as it should. Have the Space gray.

This machine does everything I need and then some. It’s ultra light and runs speedy.

I do love this machine's design, screen, and actually the keyboard is surprisingly good. It's standard Apple quality and the iOS works well. The reason for the half point deficit is it does have a couple of glitches. When I wake it up from sleep, sometimes I have to restart Safari just to get the pages to work again. Chrome seems to be more consistent. Also, when I plug in earbuds, sometimes it'll raise and lower the volume without pressing the buttons not he headset. The headset works fine in my phone. I plan to take it into the Apple Store when I have time. Overall all though, solid, well-built and beautiful machine.

As a faithful PC user, I must say, I was very hesitant to transition to Mac. I wanted something different from what I have been using so I decided to go with his laptop. Although I had some things to learn, I will say, I am very happy with my decision. My laptop is not only sleek, so far it has been fast and fun to use. It's very light and I'm getting the hang of using it. I originally had the surface book but I returned it after watching video editing performance videos for it. Although it was beautiful, I wasn't sure if it will be strong enough to handle the type of work I wanted to use my laptop for example video editing photo editing etc. I haven't used it to edit yet but my friends to edit all use Mac and have no complaints. I purchased this item open box so it actually ended up being cheaper than my surface book. I give this laptop five stars and I love how it integrates with my iPhone and iPad Air.

This is the best laptop i ever bought for myself so far, i have been an apple user anyway, this one is thinner, more handy and high end. Im very satisfied with the specs ofthis laptop, very powerful, fast and beautiful. I would definitely recomment this laptop.

I have a 2012 15" MacBook Pro which is awesome. The new 2016 13" I bought for my wife is good, but improvements over the 2012 models seem modest and the cost is hight. Prices for memory and storage upgrades are particularly out-of-line when compared to non-Apple products. That said, this is a good machine and perfect for my wife's needs today. I would recommend this machine provided you catch it "on sale" as we did.

When apple announced this laptop i thought they were crazy. Two ports only!? I decided to ignore that and give it a shot and i have to say that i'm impressed. First of all what a keyboard! if you are into mechanical keyboards you are going to love the feel and the sound of this keyboard. The learning curve is minimal and I notice that i type faster now than when i used previous macbook keyboards. . The trackpad and the retina screen are also something to mention because they are best in class. To be honest THIS IS NOT A PRO LAPTOP i would call it the macbook air replacement, if you use hdmi or sd cards you are going to live the dongle life but if you are like me who just needs a good school laptop or a laptop for basics like web browsing and stuff then look no further. I am in love with the weight and form factor of this computer and would recommend to anynone.

This non-touch bar 13-inch MacBook Pro is amazing. It has the best display that I've ever seen on a laptop and it's fast and the battery life is much longer than I expected. I get 12 hours of continuous iTunes movie playback at 75% display brightness.

I bought this for my wife. She is a teacher and this is the same model they use at school. She wanted to be able to have the same setup during the summer as she has during the school year. She loves it. Light weight, fast and beautiful display.
