Embarrassed to admit that I got sucked into the MacBook is the best frenzy. Purchased this MacBook Pro for nearly $1800… The most expensive laptop buy triple that I had ever bought. Only used by me and babied due to it’s price(wanted to make it last a long time). It has proven to also be the shortest life laptop I have ever owned. Just past 3 years before the Retina display died. Now they want 1/2 of the original price to fix this Mac. I won’t make the Mac mistake again. Will gladly buy Windows based laptops at a third of the price and replace every 3-4 years…always having an updated laptop while taking 12 years to spend the same amount of money that this “Mac paper weight” just cost me over the last three years. Extremely disappointed in the so-called Apple quality.

It is light, fast, easy to use. This is my first Apple PC. I've used other PCs over 25 years for work/personal use. Finally purchased a MAC after seeing the MacBook I bought for my daughter starting college in 2010--run without ANY issues all this time. I was needing my 3rd PC in the same amount of time.... This MacBook Pro w/touch bar is amazing. I purchased Apple Care because I really thought I would need help getting up and running and didn't want to bother my daughter (haven't needed to call Apple once since so easy to use). Also, I am a klutz and protection for 3 years really made me feel better about buying this higher priced PC. (no accidents yet). Both the Apple and Best Buy staff onsite were extremely knowledgeable and patient having answered my questions for days before I made my purchase. Have fun!!!

Just upgraded from an old MB Air to new MB Pro and I am very happy I made the move. The screen is awesome and the speed is amazing compared to what I am used to. I was skeptical about the touch bar but I really glad I made the choice to go with it. I travel a lot and the 13" size and weight are perfect. I highly recommend this machine!

I am already a big Apple products fan. When I first switched from a HP laptop to my first MacBook I finally understood why there is such a buzz around MacBooks vs any other brand (I already had vaio, HP and acer). It was so fast and would never get present problems. So mu husband gave me the new MacBook Pro 13" with the touch bar as an early Xmas gift and I thought that it couldn't get better then my old air but was a gift so... I was wrong! I don't know how to explain but yes, they improved what was already perfect! It's fast, either to turn on or off and also to load files, to connect to the internet and the touch bar is just such an useful tool that makes my life easier! Not mentioning the design with the new space gray color... looks so fancy! lol We decided to purchase at Best Bay because of past positive experiences and we didn't regret! I had a little trouble setting up my new macbook and their geek squad was promptly ready to help! I do recommend the product and also the services, always a pleasant experience w them! :)

New MAC Book Pro is very fast and easy to use. Touch bar is an amazing innovation and switches the context really fast. It’s very slim and light in weight, fits comfortably in hand. I love this product.

This is my second MacBook Pro and I’m really liking it. My first was the 15” model and I don’t miss the screen size. The 13” is great and feather light compared to the old one. I went with touch bar because it had more Thunderbolt ports other wise I wouldn’t have bothered with. Now that I have it I’m glad I made the purchase. It is very handy. If you use an iPad as much as I do having the bar is second nature. It really does a lot for whatever program your in. I’d buy it again!

I was skeptical about the Touch Bar, however it is a very neat feature. As usual it is a powerful machine. Touch ID works even faster than in iPhones. For some reason the Retina Display seems sharper than previous models. Battery lasts about 12 hours in just typical situation, internet browsing, videos, running several programs. I updated from a MacBook 12, and it was the best decision. Since that model used to get too hot all the time. Hope this helps!

I have to say that this new MacBook Pro is sleek, fast and full of great new features like touchbar BUT, be prepared to stock up on adapters. At the very least you’ll need an adapter for USB input and forget about plugging your new lighting headphones in because there’s no spot for them either. From the minute I pulled it out of the box the reality of the Thunderbolt only ports hit me. I get it- but to not even have a lightning port for my APPLE headphones seems a bit silly. Stop making these exclusive ports or start including some standard adapters. With the $1800 price tag, I think you can afford to throw a Thunderbolt to USB in there. I would have given this 5 stars but the port situation is highly inconvenient.

I use to have a MacBook in 2008 than 2 years ago I needed to get a new laptop and being a broke college student I bought a Dell with an i7 processor and 8gb of ram with a 500gb hard drive. These were comparable to the MacBook Pros at the time minus maybe the HDD opposed to the SSD. Yet it was around 400 dollars cheaper, so I opted to, but the Dell and it lasted me ONLY 2 Years. It was a hard drive failure and I know that is the luck of the draw yet I should have know better than to have bought a hard drive. It also became really slow and had trouble doing some tasks that I thought was not out of expectations. I use my computer mostly for school work but from time to time light video editing. So I bought this MacBook Pro, and I could tell right away it was 10 times better. It is quiet and very powerful. I can now use better video editing software, and it can handle it with no problem. I love this computer I have had it for around a month and besides needing to buy dongles for the computer, It is perfect. I will be sticking will apple computers. Just pay the extra money and buy apple, I promise you it is worth it and will last you 5+ years opposed to 2 with most other computers. Take it from someone who use to sell and fix computers! Hopefully, this is helpful.

Purchased this for my girlfriend's birthday to use in graduate school. Says this is the best gift she has ever received. The touch bar is really convenient, battery life is excellent, and the processor is so much more powerful than her old HP Pavilion. Highly recommended, which means a lot coming from someone who owns ZERO Apple products.

This is by far the best laptop on the market. It is really fast and never has problem lagging during downloads depending on your wifi connection. The touch-bar can be unnecessary, but if you run art or editing programs that touch-bar is very useful, overfull if you want the touch-bar it is still very useful for basic programs like safari or google chrome. Overall the laptop is the best on the market and the 13 inch size is perfect for backpacks and carrying around and compared to the air or regular Macbook the performance is much better.

This machine exceeded every expectation! Best screen and speakers on any laptop. Everything is extremely quick and responsive. Industrial design is gorgeous. Battery lasts all day. Everything you could ever want in an ultra portable Apple laptop!

So far works great. I've had my previous macbook pro for 8 years, by the way. The touchbar is way more multifunctional than I thought. Light weight, good battery. Nice keyboard. Ot would be nice if there was at least one usb port though.

I really like this MacBook Pro. It is super thin and very light weight. It is very fast and the screen resolution its beautiful.The stereo sound coming from the speakers is fantastic! I have the one with the touch bar and really like the finger print function. The touch bar adds to the full experience. My only drawback would be the lack of ports and omission of the optical drive. I guess this was necessary because of how thin this Mac is. I for one would buy this Mac again especially because of the deal I got at Best Buy!

Purchased the Apple -cApple - MacBook Pro® - 13" Display - Intel Core i5 - 8 GB Memory - 256GB Flash Storage Flash Storage for our child in college. Great computer, fast, lightweight, touch bar is a nice new feature.

I "downsized" from a 2011 15" to a brand new 13" MacBook Pro and absolutely love it. It is so lightweight yet does all I need and more. I'm learning to use the Touch Bar feature and love the Siri button.

I’m a college student and just upgraded from a 2012 MacBook Pro. This one is so much faster and lighter. Was definitely questioning the touch bar but love it. It’s really cool and useful.

This MacBook Pro is a really great laptop. It is easy to use (once you watch the tutorial) and very light weight. I would recommend it to any college student looking to invest in a good laptop. The battery life lasts a very long time too. The only thing that they don't tell you is that you will need a Hyperdrive in order to charge your phone, plug in a USB, etc. because the laptop itself does not have those ports.

This is my third MacBook. My first was the 2012 MacBook with the optical drive and OS X Lion and I fell in love. A few years later I upgraded to the retina 13" MacBook and was amazed at the thin yet powerful machine. My new MacBook blows both of my formers MacBooks out of the water! This machine is so slim, light, and fast. The space gray color is so sexy. Apple certainly has a knack for putting great computers in a beautiful design.

Not only is this latest version light and slick, but the speed is perfect. The touchbar is an awesome addition. I can’t believe how fast this is and so thin. Great job Apple.
