New to apple world and glad I switch over for photography!

I'm very happy with my new MacBook Pro! I purchased one in 2019, that was the 2017 version. (Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM, and 256 GB memory.) Touchbar was an option at that time, but I purchased without it because I viewed that as an unnecessary "extra." My husband had been using my older MacBook Pro, purchased in 2012; slowly but surely, it was becoming obsolete. Many new software upgrades could not be accommodated, but the fact that it held up so long, and still works, is a testament to the quality. As I was watching for the right "deal" to replace his, I wound up getting the new one for myself, and hubby has the one I got 2 years ago. I only spent a little more than I did in 2019, and through Best Buy's open box program, (open box, Excellent - Certified) I was thrilled to be able to upgrade to the Intel Core i5, with 16GB of RAM, and 1TB version! Getting used to the Touchbar, and don't hate it, but it's not particularly useful to me. Thanks, Best Buy!

I’ve used Macs since 1985. My 2012 MacBook finally died and I replaced it with this one. The experience keeps getting better and better. Love having 16 gigs of ram, I never realized what a difference that would make. I couldn’t believe how much thinner and lighter these have gotten, at first I thought they shipped me the MacBook Air by mistake. :-) Thrilled with my purchase!

This is my 1st Mac computer, so finding my way around is a learning experience since I've always used a PC. But I'm learning and this little computer is great! Loads Super fast, colors on the screen are beautiful and it has plenty of memory. I just wish Apple prices were lower and you received more accessories with it. Overall I love it and would recommend it!!

I'm an photography and music production hobbyist. And I recently started getting more serious with my hobby, and I realized that my 2013 windows PC was a little outdated.. I needed a laptop that's reputable and easy to use. I went down to Best Buy and immediately headed towards the Apple section. This MacBook pro immediately caught my attention, and after several minutes of deciding between the 16GB RAM - 512GB SDD, I chose to get the 13" space gray (16GB RAM - 1TB SSD) model since knew that I needed more space for all my media. Plus it has a beautiful finish, a nice mousepad with plenty of room, and a nicely light up keyboard! Get yourself a USB-C adapter, you'll need it! Now I will let you know this!! If you are looking to get a MacBook for everyday use (web browsing, Word/Excel/Powerpoint, netflix, youtube, homework etc).. save yourself $1,000+ and get yourself a MacBook Air.! It is much slimmer, lighter, and similar in features (the only thing missing is the touchbar and two USB C ports instead of 4.. which I rarely use anyways). I ONLY RECOMMEND this MacBook (or any Pro model) if you are using it for PROfessional content-creating applications that use a lot of RAM (Logic, Photoshop, Final Cut etc.)

love it, what more can I say. My 2nd MacBook, and things just keep getting better. Once you go MAC you don't go BACK...lol. the 1st one still works gave that one to my daughter, she loves it. just wanted to upgrade and boy it I, the speed, storage, display. I not one to just give 5 stars but this got 5 from me...

This is an update to a 2011 MacBook Pro, so the difference is noticeable. Pleased with the speed and the new keyboard. Still getting used to the Touch Bar and all of it's features, but so far it's been nice to have. Photo editing has been much faster also. Overall, a very good purchase that I'm hoping will last as long as my previous MacBook.

Over all, the computer is great. It’s a Mackbook. It’s a great computer. I was glad I got the 1tb storage. The only thing I didn’t like about it, was that it only has the four thunderbolt or usb-c ports. Maybe I’m just getting older, but I miss having a USB port, a slot for sd cards and a hdmi port.

I bought this because my Air didn’t have enough storage. This has the new Touch Bar which I love. It also opens with passcode, fingerprint or my Apple watch being close. What a great new feature. The only drawback is there are no USB A ports so you need to buy an adaptor or dock. I still give it 5 stars. Way to go Apple.

I purchased my new 13" MacBook Pro on sale through the Best Buy website. Love how lightweight the laptop is, and the retinal display is beautiful. The new Touch Bar at the top of the keyboard is totally customizable and allows you to quickly access functions. The mousepad has many more fingertip functions, as well.

Great new and dependable hardware. I got this with apple care but I will still buy a case. It was a little pricey and I only recommend buying this laptop if you want performance. If you need a normal laptop get the air and save some money. This laptop has almost enough power to game. The touchbar is not worth the buy but looks super cool. Another difference between the pro and the air is that the pro will not overheat as easily which was my issue with other laptops. Overall I would say this laptop is amazing.

Great laptop in a small body that gets the job done. Use this for a lot of design work and it definitely keeps up with as much as I put it through. I hook it up to my monitor when I need more real estate and it syncs up nicely with my Logitech accessories. Would definitely recommend.

Great laptop. Works amazing on mac and windows. Runs small games well. Love the touch bar, it's very nice to be able to change the volume without having to click around the screen. Full battery lasts at least 4-6 hours. Best laptop I've had for school.

it's the pereect size for everything i need and do. Lightweight and easy to pack for travel. My only issue is that yiu need an adaptor to connect anythinh that's not USB-C. I guees i just have to wait for technology to decide to get on the same page and land on one universal connection option

Love this apple product! Some say the Touch Bar is unnecessary however I say splurge and pay the extra! The features are great! This laptop is quick, it completely interacts with all of your other apple products and is worth the money! I love it

The MacBook Pro is perfect for me. It was easy to set up and I moved my files, mail, and music without a problem from my old Mac Mini. The OS works great, the touch bar is very cool, lots of storage. I cabled it to a monitor so that I can use my bluetooth keyboard and mouse while at home.
